A video preview

On Friday I posted a preview screencap of my animated cameo on tomorrow night’s season two premiere episode of Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All of The World and today I get to share with you a short video clip of my appearance in the ep … check it out:

LOL! OMG … it’s soooooo fun, right? I should explain that I did not record my lines with either of the other characters in the clip. I went in on my own and recorded my lines (a few times, actually) and the animators animated me (rockin’ the faux hawk) and the producers put us all together as if we were actually talking to one another. You prolly also noted that my voice uttering my line, “He is so dunzo!” is not actually coming out of my mouth. I’m told that the error has been reported to the producers but it’s unclear if they’ll be able to fix it for the final airing on TV tomorrow. BUT, make sure you tune in to LOGO tomorrow night at 10PM to watch the ep in full to see how I came to make it into the animated world of Rick & Steve :)

What happened?
Jesse Metcalfe Is On A Roll

Jesse Metcalfe, who co-hosted the 2008 World Music Awards in France this weekend, was seen making his way thru the airport in Nice, France today in a wheelchair:

Not that I want to wish harm on the guy but I hope he really was in need of assistance and wasn’t trying to scam his way on the plane without having to wait in any lines. He did look a bit limpy as he entered the airport so I guess he mebbe hurt his leg/ankle/foot? It’s a little strange to see such a strapping guy having to get around via wheelchair … I hope he’s gonna be OK.

Who can it be now?
Guy Ritchie Caffeinates With Some Chick

Guy Ritchie was snapped grabbing a cup of coffee with a woman while taking a break from filming his new Sherlock Holmes movie in London … but according to the caption from the photo agency that shot this pic, Guy was having coffee with Rachel McAdams. While it is true that Rachel stars in the film as Irene Adler, I cannot for the life of mesee how this woman is Rachel McAdams:

The pair were snapped at Smithfield Cafe in London but … is it Rachel? I suppose it’s possible that they did something cosmetically for her role in the film but … I dunno. What do y’all think … could this really be Rachel?

... in her new music video
Miley Cyrus Has A New Love Interest

Shh!! Don’t tell 20-year old underwear model Justin Gaston but … it looks like Miley Cyrus has got a new man in her life …

… but only on the set of her new music video Fly on the Wall. By all accounts, things (whatever they may be) appear to still be going strong betwixt Jiley … but I kinda think it would’ve been cool if Miley had let Justin be in her music video. That being said … this music video boyfriend does kinda look like Justin Gaston from far away, don’t he? I mean, I’d have to see him in his underwear to make an adequate comparison but … he does, right?

Welcome to the White House, Mr. President-elect
The New First Family Visit Their New Home

President-elect Barack Obama and his beautiful wife and future First Lady Michelle Obama were welcomed to the White House today by the current residents (GWB and his wife Laura) less than one week since he was elected as our nation’s 44th President. Here are a few pics of the Obamas and the Bushs posing for pics in front of the White House just a couple of hours ago and some info from the New York Times about their meeting today:

President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, were welcomed at the White House shortly before 2 p.m. Eastern time by the current occupant, President George W. Bush, a man with whom he expressed a sea of differences during the just-ended election campaign. Broadcast images showed Mr. Bush and Mr. Obama strolling along the colonnade toward the outer entrance to the Oval Office. Mr. Obama walked just at Mr. Bush’s shoulder and appeared to be speaking animatedly, gesturing with both hands. Each of the men waved several times to reporters and others off camera. Mr. Bush and the first lady, Laura Bush, are expected to take the Obamas on a tour of the White House, and then Mr. Bush and Mr. Obama are expected to split off for about 90 minutes of formal talks concerning the transfer of power from Mr. Bush’s conservative Republican administration to a presumably much more liberal Democratic leadership. Mr. Obama will be seeing the Oval Office in person for the first time, just 10 weeks before he will make history by returning as its first black occupant, a spokesman for Mr. Obama said earlier in the day … Josh Bolten, the president’s chief of staff, said on Monday morning that the president and president-elect will be alone in the Oval Office when they meet, without aides present. “I’m sure each of them will have a list of issues to go down,” Mr. Bolten said during a televised interview with reporters from The Associated Press and The Washington Post. “But I think that’s something very personal to both of them. I know the president will want to convey to President-elect Obama his sense of how to deal with some of the most important issues of the day. But exactly how he does that, I don’t know, and I don’t think anybody will know.” Mr. Bush and Mr. Obama have had relatively little personal contact before now, and by some accounts, when they have met, there has been some awkwardness … For his part, Mr. Obama and his aides have missed no opportunity to remind Americans that they have only one president at a time. Even so, Mr. Obama and his team are moving expeditiously to plan the transition and a post-Inauguration agenda that aides said would probably include the quick reversal of some Bush policies, such as his restrictions on stem-cell research and on oil and gas drilling. One thing is certain: The body language between the Obamas and the Bushes will be widely scrutinized and assessed, to see whether they appear to be comfortable working together or, as was the case with some past transition meetings, are straining just to appear polite. Mr. Obama flew to Washington Monday morning from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago aboard a chartered American Airlines Boeing Super-80 jetliner. Ms. Obama flew to Washington separately, a spokeswoman for her said. Having had a chance to size up their new accommodations, and those who have occupied them for eight years, the Obamas are scheduled to return immediately afterward to Chicago, where the work of transition will continue. Aides to Mr. Obama said that no Cabinet nominees would be announced this week.

LOL! I’m surprised the Obamas didn’t show up with a bunch of moving boxes to present to the Bushs. I can think of about 65 million people in this country who would love to help the Bushs pack up their shizz in the White House ;)

All kidding aside, tho, I think it’s very admirable that GWB has been so open to starting the transition of power process so soon after the election. This is the first transfer of power since 9/11 and it looks like they want to ensure that there are no gaps that might be exploited by our nation’s enemies. I also think is great that the Obamas are allowed to tour the White House so early before the Bushs move out … that way they can take stock on the home’s inventory so they can make sure the Bushs don’t take nothing with them when they go back to Texas :)

The TV Guide
Pizza With My Peeps

I managed to crawl out from under my mounds of laundry to start getting some of it done ahead of my trip home to Detroit later on in the week. I spent part of the afternoon paying bills (which is always fun) but I did get out of the house last night to meet up with Mike and Jill for a bite to eat at Prizzi’s Piazza in Hollywood. We had a nice time hanging out … we’ve all been so bizzy, it’s been hard to get together. Prizzi’s had some fun paintings on the wall last night, so I snapped a pic for my 365 project (which is coming along nicely, I have to say):

It was nice catching up with Mike and Jill but as soon as I got home last night I had more cleaning to do. My week is a bizzy one so I have to get things done a little bit at a time while I have the time. I have a fun reception to go to tonight and then tomorrow night, Darion, Kirsten and I are heading down to La Jolla to see Xanadu on stage there :) I have a meeting on Wednesday and then I leave for Detroit on Thursday … I’ll be there for a week (seeing NIN and Madonna while I’m there). Lots to do.

National Day Of Protest Against Marriage Discrimination

Protest rallies against the passage of Proposition 8, which legalized marriage discrimination in the State of California, have taken place every day since Election Day last week and will continue this week and in the weeks after. A few Pink readers who live outside of California have been asking for information regarding what can be done in their parts of the country to make their voices heard as well. I am happy to report that Join the Impact is organizing a National Day of Protest against the passage of Proposition 8 here in California and FOR THE NEED of marriage equality in this country as a whole. Here is the flyer that is being distributed (which can be downloaded HERE) by organizers who are asking that YOU put up in your cities to alert people of the protest:

You can find more information at jointheimpact.com about the National Day of Protest. For folks here in SoCal, you can click HERE to see an updated list of the protest rallies that are being planned for the coming week. Additionally, repealh8.org is a site that has been set up to update the ongoing plans for overturning the passage of Prop 8 here in California.

Because I will be in Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday November 15, I’m not sure if I will be able to make it out to the Michigan rally that is scheduled to take place in Detroit but YOU can click HERE to see a list of locations where the rallies will take place in your States on the 15th. The passage of Prop 8 here in California (and similar propositions in Florida, Arizona and Arkansas) does not just impact the citizens of those States — nor does it merely impact the lives of the GLBT community — its passage is an affront to Liberty and Justice For All in this country and threatens to undermine the very things that this country stands for. I feel it is very important to stand up for marriage equality in this country. Like so many times before in our nation’s history, the people are being called upon to oppose injustice and discrimination in this country. While we have made great strides in other areas, there is still much work to be done.

No seizure, just an allergic reaction
Britney Spears’s Son Hospitalized But ‘Fine’

Earlier today we heard a report that Britney Spears‘s youngest son, Jayden James, was rushed to the hospital after reportedly suffering a seizure … and now it turns out that the report was only half true. While JJ was rushed to the hospital yesterday, it was not because he suffered a seizure, it was because he suffered an allergic reaction (according to People magazine) after eating “something really bad” (according to TMZ):

Britney Spears’s trip home with her sons this weekend took an unexpected serious turn when her 2-year-old Jayden was rushed to a Kentwood-area hospital at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. But the toddler is not in danger, according to a source close to the family. “He’s doing fine,” the source tells PEOPLE. “They kept him overnight.” Jayden was taken to the hospital after suffering “a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable,” according to the source, who says that Britney Spears and her mother, Lynne, spent the night at the hospital with Jayden. As for what caused the reaction, “They’re just not sure,” said the source.

TMZ adds: Now we’ve gotten to the bottom of why Jayden James was rushed to the hospital yesterday. Sources tell TMZ he ingested something that didn’t agree with him. We are told, contrary to several reports, it was NOT a seizure. We’re told he’ll probably be discharged tomorrow. As for Ms. Britney Spears, she was “worried” but is now fine. P.S. Britney and others have been trying to get in touch with K-Fed to let him know what’s going on, but haven’t had any luck.

Whew! Well at least this is better news. Any hospitalization is scary but hearing how this supposed allergic reaction manifested sounds a lot less scary than the prospect of an errant seizure. Here’s hoping that Jayden recovers quickly and get released from the hospital so that he can get back to playin’ with his older brother Sean Preston and his little cousin Maddie Briann.

UPDATE: BritneySpears.com has just been updated with an official statement from the Spears family about Jayden‘s hospitalization:

“Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow.”

"I think it's pretty obvious who I'm seeing"
Lindsay Lohan Openly Confirms Relationship With Samantha Ronson To ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ Magazine

Lindsay Lohan is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine for their Fabulous issue (you may recall that Angelina Jolie graces the cover of the British version of this month’s Harper’s Bazzar magazine for their Fabulous issue) and in the mag’s coverstory, Lindsay very openly and candidly discusses the positive changes that have happened in her life and ABSOLUTELY unequivocally confirms that she is seeing Samantha Ronson, much to her happiness. Here is Lindsay on the cover the HB and portions of her candid interview:

It’s a Saturday night in early October and Lindsay Lohan is sitting at the Chateau Marmont drinking a Shirley Temple. She is such a regular at the hotel that no one gives a second look when she comes racing in with a friend. Lindsay is wearing a black dress over a pair of her now-signature leggings, Yves Saint Laurent boots, several bracelets, two diamond rings on her right hand, and an open black Michael Jackson-like glove on her left. She looks a little more glamorous than usual — “The hostess said, ‘It’s so nice to see you dressed up,’” she says — and the faintly ironic beverage reveals that she’s no longer living la vida Lohan. The message is clear: Lindsay has actually started growing up. After close to five months in rehab in 2007, Lindsay, 22, is embracing maturity and recognizing she must take responsibility for her actions. “I was going to clubs all the time, and it was not okay. I was so alone. It made me not focus on what I was doing,” she says now. Of her life pre-Cirque Lodge and Promises, she observes, “I was living here [at the Chateau] for almost two years. Who blows that much money on a hotel?” She waves her arm around and says, “I could have bought a house!” But Lindsay admits candidly, “I did it to myself, and I have to deal with the consequences. I’m thankful for what I can take out of it. Now I feel clear. That’s my past, and I’m a different person now. I have goals and I’m working to achieve them. I’m not hanging out with people who are out every night getting fucked up. “And,” she adds sheepishly with a smile, “I think that I’m happy.” Her friend Jaime Zeluck, who works in the music business and has been silently checking her PDA, chimes in, “You’re the best I’ve seen you in a while.” Truth be told, the Lindsay Lohan we know and love hasn’t quite disappeared. She arrives more than an hour late. The reason for her tardiness: an oddly amusing story involving searching for Lindsay’s Escalade and “climbing a hill in YSLs.” (Lindsay doesn’t have a driver’s license at the moment.) Still, compared with past hijinks, this is Lohan lite. “I think at this point,” she offers, “[the media] is like, ‘Let her do what she’s going to do. We’ve seen her do enough.’” Lindsay’s response may explain the nonchalant attitude the press has taken toward her latest reported romance, an apparent stabilizing force. She refuses to name DJ Samantha Ronson, known for her boyish attire, skinny jeans, and porkpie hat, as the object of her affection, though she has alluded to their relationship on her MySpace blog.

BUT … for the first time, Lindsay does go on to VERY PLAINLY make clear that she and Sam are happily together. After the jump, read another portion of her Bazaar interview and see the photos from her photospread …
