Alas … another Halloween has come and gone and here I am on the first day of November wondering where the year has gone! We are on the cusp of electing a new president and are only 2 months away from the end of 2008 altogether — it’s kinda scary. BUT, not quite as scary as all the Halloween fun we all got to enjoy last night, I’m sure. My BFF Sarah and my friend Tracey got dressed up as Pocahontas and Sacagawea so that they could take my darling goddaughter Zakiya, dressed as a cowgirl, trick or treating last night. Here are a few pics from back home:

Seriously, ain’t she the cutest little cowpoke you ever did see? She’s a doll … I really wish I could’ve been back home in Detroit to share in the fun.
My friends here in SoCal, Kirsten and Darion, also got in on the Halloween fun yesterday … here are pics of their fun Halloween costumes:

Kiki just looked hawt and Darion dressed up as Jamy Winehouse, Amy Winehouse’s equally trainwreck brother. Cute!!
As for David and Me, well, we spent a quiet night in with our friend Steph and Alek. My dear Frenchies, have been out of the country for about 5 months working on getting their US Visas and, after much delay, they finally returned home to LA late Thursday night so yesterday was our first chance to see them. I brought along some fun masks but kept the Halloween craziness to a minimum:

I realize everyone and their mother dressed up as The Joker this Halloween but I wanted to change it up a bit and go as the Bank Robber version of The Joker. Oh, who am I kidding … I just wanted to wear the purple gloves and purple jeans ;) David, as much as I love him, pooped out and didn’t feel like participating at all. Ah well. Our night was a quite one … we had a nice dinner at Rambutan (S&A had never been before) and then chilled at their place for a while afterward. They were wiped, we were wiped … it was an early night.
Not sure what’s on tap for ce soir … I don’t expect we’ll do anything all that crazy … it’s cloudy and cooler today so it might be a quiet one for us.
