Xtina Aguilera’s Latest Batch Of Promo Pics
Earlier this week, Xtina Aguilera finally released the new music video for her new single Keeps Gettin’ Better to very little fanfare. After delaying the vid for some time after the single hit the airwaves, Xtina released (in my opinion) a pretty weak, unexciting vid. I was a bit bummed that the vid wasn’t very good, IMHO, especially since I quite like the song very much and have been diggin’ on some of the promo materials that she has been releasing in the past few weeks. Today we get a new batch of promo pics and, I have to say, these are the worst of the bunch. While I felt her previous promo pics were sexy and cute, I think these pics are neither of those two things:
Damn the red lipstick. It just makes her look cheap … I just don’t get it. The top B&W pic is the nicest of this batch but the slits in her top that expose parts of her breasts are just tacky as hell. These pics look more like the old Xtina that I’m not particularly fond of. I much prefer the less garish, more fun Xtina that we’ve been seeing around lately. I’m really not trying to be a hater but the “sultry” thing she tries to pull off ends up looking more trampy, I think. I dunno … am I totally wrong? Is this the Xtina that people want?

I have to agree that her attempt to look “sultry” does usually end up looking “trampy”. I think her photos would be hotter without all the fake hair, overload of make up, and stripperesque clothing- But then again it has been working for her…lol

X-Tina looks hot! A bit tranny-ish but still hot. I prefer this look over the blunt bangs she’s been rockin’. Love her for being over the top!

Here’s the thing about the red lipstick. It could be done with class and style and look fabulous on her. She’s a very beautiful woman but it seems since she got pregnant she’s just been wearing WAY too much makeup and completely over-doing it.
She knows how to rock the sultry (Dirrty) so I don’t get what she’s trying to prove now. I agree with you though Trent, the previous batch of photos were much better!

dude, I BEYOND agree..
I think her red lipstick-white hair look makes her look more trampy than classy. It used to look nice, but then she got a little more involved in it…IDK how to explain it.
But I love the fun Xtina! I think she’s a naturally gorgeous woman…and she needs to show it OFF naturally.

If she is getting sponsored by MAC cosmetics in any way then that would explain the lots of makeup look. I’ll look into that but it won’t be a shocker if it turns out to be true. I definitely loved her on her Back to Basics look and think she should have stuck with that ESPECIALLY after having a baby. Class works for her!

i dont mind them, not a huge fan of the first pic but love the other 2. i love this whole photo shoot, she looks hot & a lipstick colour isnt going to change that. im loving the eye make up too really brings out her eyes.

yes, the red lipstick suits her better. But enough with the nasty ratty hair, and the “come eff me” poses. She’s married now and has a kid, we all know this. Not saying she needs to start knitting and wear turtlenecks, but good grief.

I agree with Nora. The red lipstick in this set looks good. The pornstar pink looks trashy. I like the kind of pictures that she has in her older albums, which are sexy and classy.
