I dont think Beyonce re-branding herself does anything good or bad- But now we will face hoards of 13 year old Beyonce fans insisting that their parents call them by a different name– like “Susie Ferocious” Heck, I’m going into work tomorrow, and will insist that everyone call me by alter ego—”Feisty Ronny” –I want new business cards too– Thanks to my Boss in advance. lol Some things like alter ego’s are best kept to onesself. Sorry Beyonce– but just stay Beyonce. Its a beautiful name. Keep the Sasha thing to yourself for when you need it–otherwise you will look unstable/ or bored. Too much time on the hands my dear.

Sorry Rooney….I’ve known for a long time that she called her stage persona Sasha and thought it was stupid then. I’m neither a hater nor a fan…by publicizing it so much she is making herself out to look like a “whack-o”! I’m just glad more people are coming out and saying it now. I’ve heard her talk about “Sasha” before – it’s a way for her to really let go on stage. I love that she’s coming out with it. I don’t know why people care so much – it’s silly, creative and something she actually uses get herself ready to deliver the goods. Go Beyonce!

Sasha Fierce? Sounds like she went to a cheezy drag show with Christian from Project Runway and he kept repeating “fieeeerrrrccceee” all night and it got stuck in her head. On the flight home she was forced to watch Talledaga Nights that was stuck on a tape loop, and saw that Sasha Barron Cohen was in it, so she put the two completely innocent words together to form a completely stupid 2nd personality. Like she needs one.

ACTUALLY “Sasha Feirce” isn’t anything new. She’s actually been around for as long as Beyonce has been performing. We all have “different personalities” for different times. As Beyonce is “Sasha” when she is performing or in a diva-like presence while Beyonce is Beyonce when she is her shy, and humble self. It’s like how celebrities come up with these stage names and put on this “face” while they’re a different person at home.

She has mentioned her on stage persona, who she named Sasha long before this. Everybody has multiple sides to their personality. Why not celebrate it? Especially if you have an album coming out.
