Who Is Blake Lively Kissing In Times Square?
Okay … so Blake Lively was snapped filming a pretty interesting scene for an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl where her character Serena van der Woodsen is filming a kissing scene with a boy in Times Square … but it surely isn’t the boy you’re prolly thinking it is:

Yeah, Serena is not making out with her onscreen love interest Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) … in fact, she’s not even making out with any of the Gossip Girl guys that we already know and love. Here are a few pics of Serena gettin’ up close and very personal with new GG character Aaron Rose (played by John Patrick Amedori):
HMMMM new blood … should be interesting. While I like the way this scene is staged (with the kiss being broadcast on the giant LCD screen behind them), I don’t know how I feel about this new guy. He doesn’t really grab me just yet … I dunno. I’m not at all familiar with the Gossip Girl books so I have no idea who he is and how he fits into the storyline (perhaps an industrious Pink reader can enlighten in the comments section?). Can’t wait to see how this very public make-out session comes to pass on the show.

If they follow by the books, Aaron will be Blair’s new step brother. He is an ultra hippie and supposed to be incredibly hot, just like this guy. Glad they are bringing him in.

Yep you are right in the books Aaron is Blairs step-brother who has some sorta of crush on Blair and then ends up with Serena. That all comes to a end with I think Aaron doesnt really like Serena and he starts to date Vanessa.

the guy who’s playing Aaron is John Patrick Amedori. WIlla Holland from teh OC is also supposed to be a new character – she’ll play a model.

The storylines in the books are totally different from the show. They will likely keep some essence of Aaron though. He was a GREAT character in the book. He is way hot!

not new blood at all! blair’s step-brother…as far as the books go.
finally the show is following the books! hopefully they’ll have cyrus and introduce blair’s brother tyler and then elanor and cyrus will have baby yale!!

I highly doubt they are going to follow the books exactly. The only things similar between the book and the show are the character’s names and where they live.

Actually, they did cast Aaron’s dad Cyrus. He’s the male teacher Cher sets up with the female teacher in the Clueless movie.

Aaron is Blair’s step brother in the books. In the earlier books he and Serena had a relationship and he broke her heart, which inspired “Serena’s Tears”, a perfume. Then of course Serena’s face was all over buildings and buses which drove Blair crazy!

Oh. My. Gosh. Aaron’s hot. HAHA. Yeah, Aaron is going to be (or not) Blair’s stepbrother. Gosh, I really want to see how ugly Cyrus is. Those who read the books, will surely know. Aaron is too cute for words. ;)
