Vicki B. is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vogue India magazine this month. In what looks to be a photoshoot that was done back when she still had long hair, Vicki B. is all done up as an Indian bride on the mag’s coverphoto and in the accompanying photospread. Here is VB‘s Vogue India coverphoto:

Victoria Beckham channels Bollywood for her spicy debut in Vogue India. “I feel like an Indian princess!” says Beckham, who appears on the November cover in a beautifully embellished wedding-day sari. The fashion-conscious Spice Girl, 34, raves about her new look, which appears in the bridal special issue: “It’s so me,” she says, examining the intricate detail of the fabrics. “This is real craftsmanship.” … Having debuted her own line of dresses last month to critical acclaim, how did the Brit click with Indian fashionistas? “I thought she was a hoot!” said Vogue fashion features director Bandana Tewari. “Victoria had this unexpectedly dry sense of humor that all Brits seem to develop in response to their soggy weather!”
There is no question, the sari that VB is wearing is really beautiful … I think this is a great cover. After the jump, check out one more photo of Vicki B. rockin’ her Indian bride look for Vogue India …

While featuring Posh on the cover and in the pages of Vogue India may not be very controversial, another recent photospread inside the mag’s pages has sparked a bit of a fuss. If Vogue India keeps it up, they might actually have a success on their hands. So what do y’all think … does y’all like this new (and improved?) VB?

Can nobody see that the right side of her face is distorted… it looks ridiculous

Would somebody please get that petrified dung beetle off her forhead? Please?
Cover pic: BLAH. Inside pic, TONS BETTER. Although she has the Indian bride look down pat. lol In arranged marriages, they all pretty much look grumpy. hehehe
Mrs. B should consider growing her hair out. She looks great!
I’m not feeling the cover. It’s like she couldn’t bother to secure the headpiece correctly.
So nice of her to be able to play dress-up. And Tiffany, that’s an ignorant comment. Not every Indian marriage is arranged, and not every arranged marriage is between two people who don’t get along. I have a friend whose parents knew each other for 3 days, and they’ve been married now for about 30 years now, and are happy.
she looks human!!!! i love her .. she looks pretty here!
DJWhoop – your comment is a stupid way to refer to an Indian jewelry piece.. And also, I agree Paz–Tiffany wrote a really ignorant comment…not all marriages are arranged in India, both parties generally have a say in if they are interested or not (so they can refuse), and I know for SURE that the divorce rate is SOOO much less there because both parties are usually happy together and otherwise work on their marriage rather than divorcing at the drop of a hat like we see here.
