The Body Of Jennifer Hudson’s Nephew Has Been Found
A very sad update to the tragedy that has hit Jennifer Hudson’s family … the body of her 7-year old nephew, Julian King, who has been missing since last Friday (when the bodies of Hudson’s mother and brother were found fatally shot in their Chicago, IL home) has been identified. This makes him the third person in Hudson’s family to have been killed in this horrible incident:
The body found inside an SUV Monday morning has been confirmed to be Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew, a top FBI official said. The medical examiner positively identified the body found in the Chevrolet Suburban as Julian King, Monday afternoon. Earlier Monday Deputy Chief Cmdr. Wayne Gulliford said police had responding to “a call about a suspicious auto” in the west side of Chicago at approximately 7 a.m. when they found the body inside a parked white Chevy Suburban, which had a license plate matching the description in the child’s Amber Alert. He had no details on the body, pending the medical examiner’s report. Julian has been missing since Hudson’s mother and brother were found dead in their home Friday.
What else can be said? My deepest heartfelt condolences and prayers of support go out to the entire Hudson family. This is a devastating tragedy without explanation. So incredibly sad.

I do not understand the human mind or the criminal mind with an event like this…to take the lives of her Mom and brother was awful enough–but to kill a 7 yo boy? I know Jennifer is strong and confident, but she will never recover from this. Never. She just lost three of her family members’ in a matter of days. One minute she is a successful entertainer, and the next she is hit with news that is shocking, painful, and unimaginable. I think we will find out more, such as a motive (of course, there is no ‘motive’ for this type of crime) in time. I would not be able to pull through this and I don’t see how Jennifer will, even with time. Thanks, Trent..for being respectful on the site.

WOW this is SO incredibly sad. I can’t imagine.. going through the loss of your mother, brother AND nephew all at once. If I had to identify my nieces’ bodies I think I would just want to die… I can’t imagine what that family is going through. Hopefully they catch the murderers and Jennifer’s family can recover soon…

This is unbelievable… I’m in the same state of shock as everyone else who commented that they didn’t understand how someone could be capable of doing this… killing 3 people? one child? This is one of those times I wish the death penalty was legal everywhere, someone who would do something like this should be skinned alive.

The death penalty should ALWAYS be legal and this crime is why. I don’t believe in keeping these criminals’ in our jail to think about what they did. They have no remorse, they take up space, and they waste taxpayers’ money. I know I sound harsh, but the person who did this to the Hudson’s was out on the streets for years. If he did not do this to them, he would have done it to another family. Once he goes to prison, they will kill him there, anyway. A child killer won’t last long in the US prison system. If only this killer’s mother had aborted…

That said, I hope this wont become a political issue about the death penalty (see JarEdina’s post). We spend far more $$$ trying to sentence people to death than we do housing them in prison …
I hope we can focus on making sure the family and those affected get the help and love they need … and NOT just focus on punishment.

Oh good God…I can’t imagine the hell this family is going through right now. What kind of sick excuse for a human being would kill a CHILD?! That poor little boy. I’ve been hoping he was found alive since this news broke. Such devastating news.

Who would kill a child? My heart broke when I heard this…I really hope they find who did this or even why so the family can have closure and so justice can be served.

I’m not the praying type, but I’ve been praying that sick fuck would spare Julian since the news broke. Sadly, it doesn’t surprise me that he didn’t.
I really don’t understand why people feel the need to kill others…especially children. It seems like a day doesn’t go by where there isn’t some psychotic freak shooting his neighbor or kidnapping a random kid.
I feel so horrible for Jennifer and the rest of her family. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they’re going through right now.

It brings me to tears how sad I am for the Hudson family.
My sincer condolences to them, loosing family in horrid circumstances isn’t easy to get through the pain.
I’m not the prayering type but I know there in better hands now, safe from cruelty, and I only hope justice for them will be givin.

I just heard that the little boy had numerous gunshot wounds and that they police have a family member (I think) that they are questioning. All so very tragic.

First of all, I also offer my sincere condolences to Jennifer Hudson & her family that such a horrible tragedy happened to them; losing those we love os never easy. But there is a great difference between losing someone to illeness or accident & murder or suicide…
But I find myself truly shocked at most of the responses I’ve read here & on other blogs… DON’T ANY OF YOU READ/WATCH THE NEWS!? Domestic violence happens far too often in this world every day. It hits ALL walks of life REGARDLESS of race, religion, nationality, gender & sexual preference, age, etc. – The stories I’ve read have been horrible, sickening… All because one person deems the other expendable for daring to be independent & leave their “owner”. In a lot of cases, the perpetrating kills their loved one (wife/lover), & then themselves.
In rarer cases, the abuser kills family members in order to have their “target” live the rest of their lives grieving the loss for the rest of their lives. Case in point: a husband, angered that his wife divorced him, took their 3 kids & shot them in front of her before taking his own life. When the bodies were found so was the note: “It’s her fault; SHE made me DO IT!”
Again, my sincere condolences to the Hudson family for a tragedy NO ONE should EVER have to go through.

Even when (or ‘if’ unfortunately) the killer(s) are/is caught, nothing can bring back the three lives taken. There are so many questions that won’t bring answers with this case, like so many others. I can’t even imagine the last moments’ of their lives, especially little Julian. This killer shot a 7 yo to death. Rossy does make a good point-this killer probably DID want Julia or Jennifer (Julia, most likely) to pay for something and to spend the rest of her natural life grieving. So, he killed Julian. It is hard enough for Jennifer, but Julia lost her son. This case brings new meaning to gun control and the state of US crime.

I think Jennifer is so strong but I’m sure suicide has crossed her mind, perhaps? The pain is just overwhelming, esp for her sister. I would not know how to pull it together; 3 family members killed in a flash. If there is a God, why would this happen? I hate to ask, but I just don’t understand.
