I feel that only those who played those characters (Kirk, Spock, McCoy, etc) are the only ones who can truly play them. I get the premise of this movie and i realize that Shatner cannot play Kirk as a young man, however, ......I loved the original Star Trek.......LOVED the movies that featured the actors that played those characters and can barely stomach much of the new stuff. I guess I am just old skool all the way. But I can respect those who can't wait to see this movie and how JJ will make it. ;-) I just can’t do it…………seriously.
