I find the scene to be disturbing and I think a lot of people just don't know how to react. I've seen the show too many times to count (on and off Broadway) and it never fails that someone will laugh at that. I personally get really sad when that scene happens. I can't even imagine what is going through Wendla's head. I think Kyle is a good Melchior and Hunter is doing a good job as well, but honestly...no one can match Groff.
