Yesterday evening, David and I met up with Kirsten, Darion, Mike and Jill at Ketchup on Sunset Blvd. to enjoy a 50% off meal together at the fun eatery. Here is a fun group shot that we snapped at the end of dinner:

Under normal circumstances (ie. Mon-Sat.) the menu at Ketchup is a bit pricey … but if you go on Sunday they will reduce your bill (with exception for alcohol) by half. We’ve learned tho, over the past few times that we’ve gone to Ketchup on 50% off Sundays that you have to remind the waitstaff to take off the discount. As has happened the last few times we went there on Sundays, we had to send our bill back so that the correct amount was charged. I find it hilarious that the waitstaff always “forgets” to take off the 50% discount on Sundays ;) In any event, we did have a great time together eating and hanging out. David and I couldn’t stay long, tho, cuz I had to get him to the airport for his flight back to NYC. He has already arrived safe and sound. I am also happy to report that it looks like he will be coming back to SoCal sooner than I had anticipated. Thanks to frequent flier miles on Jet Blue, he may come back for Halloween weekend for free!! I was really not looking forward to a 4 week separation from him so I’m very excited that he may be coming back.

Tonight I’m meeting up with Kirsten and Darion again for a little hanging out time together … there may be Chick-Fil-A in our future, perhaps a movie, we’ll see ;)
