Mary-Kate Olsen, who just loves gaining the attention of the paparazzi, was inadvertently involved in a little fender bender on the streets of LA yesterday afternoon. Altho, thankfully, no one involved in the accident was injured, Mary-Kate was unable to hide from the ever-watchful paps who were immediately on hand to record her embarrassing run-in (as it were) with an El Pollo Loco employee’s car:
Actress Mary-Kate Olsen was involved in a minor car accident on Monday while out shopping with a female friend in Los Angeles. The former child star was leaving the Open Door furniture store when her unnamed pal accidentally reversed her Toyota Prius car into the back of another vehicle. The woman exchanged details with the other driver, an employee of the nearby El Pollo Loco store, while Olsen waited in the front passenger seat. No one was hurt in the incident.
Clearly, MK was not really interested in smiling for the cameras … which just so happened to video THE ENTIRE INCIDENT. After the jump, watch video of MK‘s embarrassing fender bender (it’s kinda worth watching just to hear the paps MOO at poor Mary-Kate Olsen) …
Considering that MK sometimes likes to wrap herself almost entirely in bed sheets or plastic bags in order to avoid being photographed by photogs (because, really, isn’t it better to be photographed wrapped in a trash bag than it is to be photographed walking like a regular person out of a hotel, coffee shop or boutique?), I’m actually surprised she didn’t try to hide from view by crawling into the glove compartment of the car (which, I’m sure, she’s small enough to do). I’m sure it didn’t help matters that her careless friend happened to collide with the car of an El Pollo Loco employee. Sure, MK most likely would not have shown her face had the accident happened with an employee of Prada … or mebbe Gucci … but still — an El Pollo Loco employee … in full uniform? LOL! Ah well, better luck next time MK.

Why are you hating on MK? she wasnt driving. it wasnt her fault. I find that everytime there something like this happens, people are hating on the celeb, even if they werent involved, just present.

Holy Crap! I always thought those Olsen Twins were Mad Fug, but in this vid MK looks Positively Hideous!!! What is she, 21? She looks like a hung-over haggard 41 y/old. WTF? Who cares about that Beast’s car (and I’m referring to the one whose fender they tapped), I just can not get over how BAD MK looks! Yikes.

I kind of feel sorry for celebs – it must suck to have people in your biz all the time. The mooing guy was in the window! The balls on him!! Besides, what do we expect mk to do? Smile, wave?? I don’t really think she’s relevant and I was never a fan of hers, I wonder why the paps still track her?

yeah, it was funny albeit a little disturbing. J, I agree with you. How disconcerting to have some strange guy in the open window of the car saying stuff to you. That would totally freak me out. These paps really cross the line of personal space. But yeah, I giggled when he moo’d.

MK, by hiding her face every time someone tries to take a picture of her, makes a picture of her worth more. She knows this, she’s in the business. She attracts paps who would make fun of her b/c she is so pap unfriendly. No one expects her to smile and wave but what’s wrong with just sitting there and looking at a magazine or texting? It’s the fact that she continuously covers her face with her hand. Just my opinion.
P.S. I thought the video was funny, she needs to lighten up (MK).
