I believe that the one thing Madge is really married to is her pop career. Going on to perform as scheduled with her “usual enthusiasm” proves it. The possible thing with A-Rod aside, being married to your work 24/7 is never the way to go if you want a healthy family life. So her marriage is now sacrificed, but she reaps bucket loads of adoration from her fans. It may not make sense normal folk like us – we react with sadness at the divorce, wonder about her kids, etc. – but it seems the way to go for Madge, who isn’t a normal person by any stretch of the imagination.

Why would she show any sign that things are ‘amiss’ in her life? Clearly this is what she wanted! You obviously don’t want to be married if you are ’seeing’ someone else. As a fan of Madonna’s, one thing I know is that she ‘live’s through people’ (she said that herself). Her life can be broken into phases – (all revolving around a significant person). The ‘Penn’ phase, the Sandra Bernhard phase, the ‘Ingrid Casares’ phase, the Warren Beatty phase, the Jenny Shimizu phase, the Carlos Leon ‘earth mother’ phase – the list is endless … She is now finishing the Guy Ritchie ‘proper English wife’ phase. She will no doubt reject anything to do with England – that’s what she does. I guess I’ll keep loving her though!

Once a whore always a whore! who was she kidding!? Poor Guy, how did he put up with such a bitch like her! She is disgusting! so full of hate! How can she claim she is so into her religion by doing what she did in her concert? Two faced hypocritical Madonna… what else can we expect from her. Poor kids, I hope that the two boys go to their dad and Lourdes also stays with her dad.

It takes a strong person to do what she did. Giving it all for her fans when her personal life is in the dumps shows what love she has to her fans. She could have postponed it but no she went on stage and give it 110%. She’s a strong woman. I say, who cares if she made some comments about Guy, like we, us ‘normal’ haven’t said negative things about an ex? Kendra calls it ‘tacky’ I call it being normal.

It just seems so disrespectful..Guy is the biological father of one of her kids and stepped in as Dad to Lourdes and David..I wonder what the adoption people think of her home being broken up so soon after she adopted David..He’s still way better off now than before, but still..I don’t know..It seems really tacky to bash the guy on the day that the divorce was announced..AND, really tacky to use the word retarded..That doesn’t seem like a word that should be thrown around like that..Then again, she bothers me so pretty much everything she does is lame in my eyes.. :)

Your description of ‘Madge’ is likely the precise reason that their marriage is over. You actually even like her and that description does not paint a picture of someone anyone would actually want to stay with for any period of time. Ick.
