That is quite remarkable that the couple kept there relationship secret for a long time. ** It’s pretty cool because it shows how the media can make these crazy stories. About who she had dated in the passed are not true. One of the youtube videos I saw Sam DJing for Lindsay’s 21st Birthday Party. So they have known each other a long time. Way to go Lindsay and Samantha for keeping your secret for so long.

“Logic” (ha), first of all I didn’t exclude ALL 22-year-olds; just most. And no, being 35 does not inherently make someone ready for marriage, either. And no, no, no, all kinds of NO, “being in love and trusting a person” is NOT enough to make a marriage work. You need shared goals, compatible temperaments, a willingness to make it work even when it’s hard… so much more than just “love.” Your brand of “logic” is probably the reason behind a lot of failed marriages.

Well put – Logic – If Lindsay is seen at an event alone these days, people are going to say they have broken up! Lesbian relationships are intense, but you can’t be joined at the hip 24/7 – especially with the careers they have.

What defines “ready” for marriage?

Isn’t being in love and trusting a person enough to be legally bonded to them enough? No?

So if you’re both 35 but don’t necessarily have absolute trust for eachother, you’re ready simply because of how long you’ve been alive?

Mental age is determined by experience, not how many years you’ve been out of the womb. And if anyone has “life experience,” I think I’d count Lindsay Lohan; look at all of the shit she’s been through. (After this is all worked out, it’ll be another life experience to add to the list.) In 22 years she’s had more life experience than all of you bloggers hiding behind your computers (myself included) put together.

Does anyone seriously think Lindsay could handle marriage right now? It’s a rare 22-year-old who is ready for that commitment, much less a controversial same-sex one, to someone much older and somehow even smokier than herself. I am personally quite tired of seeing them together. Sam is just way too intense.
