Or, you can just check out these preview pics from LC’s S/S ‘09 collection:

From the press release: The Lauren Conrad Collection – Spring/Summer 2009
This collection was inspired by the beauty of spring. Flowers are blooming, the atmosphere is changing and most importantly fashion introduces new collections to set the mood for the season. This ultra romantic, sweet, and playful collection encompasses all the sensibilities of the modern women.
For this season the Lauren Conrad collection offers beautiful styles that enhance ones beauty, while feeling comfortable and chic for any occasion. The collection is offering new fabrications that compliment the current selection of modal jersey and stretch sateen.
Burn out jersey is a light weight modal and supima blend that feels like silk on the skin and is offered in our basic best seller styles. The crinkle silk chiffon styles are whimsical and flirty like the bubble and mini dresses that are easy to wear for everyday.
Inspiration also came from the prints and trim. Spring Rose is a tonal large floral that embodies the spring concept and to compliment that there’s a Polk a dot print in the silk chiffon. The delicate rose trim if offered on the gauze styles which are light and breezy styles. This novelty trim gives it a fresh new look that is pretty and feminine.
Colors offered with names like blue flower, lemon chiffon, mulberry, truffle and ballerina are cool and light. They are clean and work together for many different looks.
Silhouettes include a variation of dresses in maxi lengths, strapless, halter, and natural waist fitting styles. There are one piece body suits as layering pieces. Ruffles, ruching, pleating and open back details are seen throughout the collection.
HMMM … is it just me or is there some difficulty differentiating between these new designs and LC’s previous designs. They all look the same to me. Sure there are some differences but really, long flowy dresses and short flirty skirts seem to be the staple. I dunno … I guess the outfits are cute. I wonder what Heidi Montag thinks of this new collection and when her new designs for Anchor Blue will be announced.

LC’s line is at BIG department stores and sells really well. Heidi’s rag collection is cheap from what I understand. After one wash the only use for it is basically a towel after you clean your car. LC’s isn’t anything creative or fresh but at least it is made well and cute and carried by stores that really matter!!

That model has the same vacuous stare that all of the girls from the Hills have in their promo photos.
Honestly, you can find this same shit at the mall for much lower prices.

Borrrrring. ‘LC’s’ ‘fashion’ is carbon dated. I stopped wanting to wear a poorly tailored binbag ages ago.

Meh..nothing special. Why is she famous again?

It’s kind of… eh. And LC is annoying!

LC’s lines are all pretty much the same, and not my style at all. I’d rather follow the Clinton and Stacy rules than wear the flimsy stuff these starlets are hawking.

omg……i know she’s very ready-to-wear kind of designer…but this is so boring…nothing FIERCE! heheh its not even calvin klein simple but amazing. If not for her status as pseudo-celebrity she wouldn’t even be a blip on anyone’s radar

I’d like to see how LC would do on Project Runway. My guess is she’d be “out” on the first show.
