Here are a couple new photos of Johnny Depp as he made his way into an office building here in SoCal this past weekend. It’s the first time that we’ve seen the man out and about since word broke that he may be making approximately $55 million dollars to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in future installments of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise:

Even tho it’s not particularly a style that I might aspire to emulate, I can absolutely appreciate that Johnny Depp has a look of his own. Never one to really fall prey to the whims of fashion trends (tho, the hat might be a nod to the new hat fashion trend that men are rockin’ these days), Johnny always manages to show off a look of his very own. His vintage outfits belie the fact that he is a man that can command upwards of $50 million dollars for a single movie role. You gotta respect a person who doesn’t have to show off his worth in the clothes that he wears. I guess this is why Johnny Depp is so beloved among fans and critics.
BTW … anyone know where I can get a dapper hat like this one?

Johnny Depp has been spending time in my city lately too! He actually ate dinner at the hotel where I work last night (although he’s staying elsewhere). They’re filming some movie on the College of Charleston campus. There’s trailers and security everywhere in town! Rumor is that they’re filming the 4th Pirates off the coast…However, I’m thinking it’s a different movie because I don’t know why Pirates would be here…
I may have missed it, but did he and his longtime g/f and baby mama get married? I didn’t think so, but he’s wearing a ring.
that’s his skull ring.
but i don’t know if they did or not
i don’t keep up with that kind of stuff
Mish, is Johnny Depp currently in Charleston, SC and if so, do you know how long they plan to be there? Just curious because I will be in Charleston on business the first week of Nov. 2008 and it would be a dream come true if I could even be in the same city with him. By the way, how close to the slave market is your hotel?
Thank you for sharing!
