Jack Bauer’s ‘Redeeming’ Qualities
Last night I was able to preview in full the upcoming 24 prequel 2-hour TV movie 24: Redemption (which was previously titled 24: Exile) and, let me tell you, I couldn’t wait to watch. It’s been SO LONG since we’ve been able to enjoy new eps of 24 that I didn’t want to wait any longer to get my fix:

I have no intention of spoiling anything from the TV movie but I did a bit of live-Twittering as I watched last night. I didn’t make reference to anything that hasn’t already been reported about the prequel or the coming season 7 of the series. 24: Redemption has a bit of a different feel from the regular series, but the action does take place between the hours of 3PM and 5PM on the Inauguration Day of a new president. I now understand that season 7 will take place “many months” after Inauguration Day between the hours of 8AM and 8AM. You see a real soft side to Jack Bauer in this prequel movie … I am confident that 24 fans will be very pleased, not only with the movie itself but with the set-up for the coming season. After the jump, check out the preview trailer for 24: Redemption …
Oh yeah, it’s a good time. Make sure that y’all tune in to FOX on Sunday November 23 to catch all the action.
No big plans today … I have to prepare my apartment for David’s arrival tomorrow night. His sister Eden is also coming out to LA for the weekend so I’m gonna have to carve out some space for her as well ;) OY!

Season 7 actually takes place many months after the Prequel (Inauguration Day), from 8am to 8pm. We shot the Prequel on location in South Africa, which gives it a real authentic feature quality. It’s really great.
FYI: An exhibit of photographs taken in South Africa while shooting the Prequel by Kiefer, Jon Cassar (Director), Rodney Charters (DP), and Michael Klick (Producer) will be on display at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills Nov. 10 – Jan. 11.

Hopefully, he’ll be somebody’s “boyfriend” while locked up. That should give him something to smile about. LOL
