Is David Beckham Planning A Move To Italy?
The Italians want to borrow our Becks for a spell

The Sun is reporting that, according to Italian newspaper Il Corriere Della Sera, David Beckham may be planning a temporary move from US to Milan, Italy once the US soccer season ends here in order to play professional soccer there. According to the paper, the soccer team Associazione Calcio Milan (or AC Milan) is interested in snagging him and that Becks is considering being snagged. It should be pointed out that this deal would be a temporary one. He’d, essentially, be on loan from the LA Galaxy. Here are a few pics of Becks, recently returned to SoCal from his recent UK trip, training with his current soccer team the LA Galaxy:

AC MILAN claim David Beckham will join them on loan from LA Galaxy in January. According to Italian newspaper Il Corriere Della Sera, Beckham could complete a permanent switch to the San Siro if he impressess before the end of the Serie A season. Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said: “Beckham wants to train and play with Milan. Will he arrive? I believe so, yes. “We want him. He will arrive in January and we will sign him for the rest of the season. We are talking with his agent but I believe he will be here for some months on a loan. The team remains intact but Beckham is something else. It’s not just a shop window deal, it’s a great deal. He will be available for (manager) Carlo Ancellotti for Serie A and the UEFA Cup. Football today is not just about tactics and technical abilities. It’s about full stadiums and sponsors. No one can beat the 65,000 fans we had on Sunday. The stadiums will only fill up with superstars like Beckham. With him, Kaka and Ronaldinho, it will be a dream team.” Milan boss Ancelotti added: “For me it will be a pleasure, Beckham is a serious athlete, a great professional. If he is available for four months with us, we will be very happy.” Galaxy have always insisted Beckham would not be allowed to join another team on loan during the MLS close season. But with his England career on the line, the 33-year-old could be ready to call time on his American adventure.

While I don’t necessarily have a huge problem with the Galaxy loaning out our dear Becks to play professional soccer in other countries (something they claimed they would not allow), I am just hoping that Becks doesn’t get any crazy ideas by doing so. I am SO NOT READY for Les Beckhams to move away from the US … no way. They just got here and we haven’t had sufficient time to enjoy them properly. I don’t mind that he and the fam jet off to Europe every once-in-a-while but they really belong here. Period. The end. Sorry, Italy.

He’s not going permanently. Stop making shit up.

Like Trent said, he’s on loan during the MLS off season… which is fine because he’ll stay in shape and be ready for next year. Plus, now we’ll get to see Beckham play with two of the greatest football players in the world, Ronaldinho and Kaká.

A loan would be perfect for Beckham because it allows him to keep fit for not only England but Galaxy as well.

My family absolutely loves AC Milan and I am a bit familiar myself with the team. Sounds cool, but wouldn’t he risk getting injured some more?
