Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Congratulate Lauren Conrad
Lauren LC Conrad debuted her new Spring/Summer 2009 fashion collection at Smashbox Studios at LA Fashion Week last night (you may recall we got a preview of her collection yesterday afternoon) and decided to head out to STK restaurant to celebrate afterward. Coincidentally, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt — her avowed nemeses (or is it nemesises?) — were also dining at STK at the same time. After emerging from the restaurant, Speidi spoke to Extra TV and publicly gave their congratulations to LC on her new collection with Heidi adding, “I love Lauren”:
Frenemies Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag kiss and make up — and “Extra” made it happen! The “Hills” starlets ran into each other at STK, where “Extra” was with Conrad at the exclusive after-party for her fashion show — when nemesis Heidi and beau Spencer Pratt suddenly showed up! Speidi tells “Extra” they were unaware of Conrad’s party and were just stopping in for a drink on their break from shooting “The Hills” down the street. When Montag saw Conrad arrive, “Extra” witnessed the former BFFs exchanging a polite “Hi” before Lauren went into her separate party room. At the fashion bash, L.C. revealed to “Extra” that Heidi was “cool” — and “it was no problem she was there” just as long as Spencer didn’t cause any trouble. Heidi then pulled an “Extra” producer aside to say she wanted to chat with her old roommate — and “Extra” brought them together! The girls chatted for a moment — then both suddenly burst into tears and HUGGED! After the tearful reunion, Heidi personally thanked “Extra” for arranging the impromptu meeting, and said of Lauren’s clothing, “It’s a great line and I love Lauren, so congratulations.” Even Spencer expressed his support of Conrad, saying, “Congratulations, L.C.”
Say what? I find it so interesting that we, the TV viewing audience, are shown one thing on The Hills (ie. Spencer Pratt’s venomous ire for his enemy LC) and then in real life we see something very different. Click HERE to watch video of Speidi offering their congrats to LC. HMMM. Does this mean that the bitter feud is finally over? I doubt it. Does this mean that both Team Heidi and Team LC know the value of publicity? You betcha [insert eye wink HERE].
But anyways, LC debuted her new collection at LA Fashion Week last night and managed to fill the front row of her runway show with some very special friends … that didn’t include Heidi or Spencer. After the jump, check out some pics from LC’s show last night …
As you can see, LC’s BFF Lauren Lo Bosworth was in the front row but neither Audrina Patridge or Whitney Port where there. Whitney was prolly in NYC filming her new Hills spin-off show The City but I wonder why Audrina was excluded? HMMMM. Also, LC’s ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler as well as her rumored current boyfriend Kyle Howard were in the front row … it’s interesting that the guys had quite a few people sandwiched between them. It’s getting harder and harder to keep all the feudin’ straight … now that LC seems to be on more friendly terms with Speidi and possibly on the outs with Audrina, the whole dynamic on The Hills may suffer a huge upheaval. Whatever will we do now that we don’t know who exactly to root for anymore?!

i dunno…i dont buy it that they are friends again…i really don’t.
i guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens. i hope this was all captured on the hills.

looks like heidi and spencer weren’t getting enough publicity, and they and they had to go find the closest photog to get their usual two cents in.

This seems weird. Maybe the whole drama was fake to begin with and now this new rumore about LC and JB is being created to take the place of the outdated crap between LC and Heidi. Either way, it just doesn’t seem real!!

Lame, lamer, lamest. They just happened to show up to the same place Lauren was having her party? Yeah right! These two publicity whores need to take a break from using Lauren’s name every other second. Honestly I don’t know how she can stand it. Couldn’t she just tell MTV that she won’t do the show if they are on it? Why must we all have to continue to suffer watching their ridiculously fake “drama”??

Spencer and Heidi being nice to Lauren is because she announced that she doens’t want to do the Hills any longer, and basically no show, no Speidi! So create new gossip of them being friends again…more story line and maybe Lauren will stay! Speidi knows how to spin the web and keep their meal ticket!

Living in a fairy tale world,anything can happen.For whatever the reason Heidi and Spencer just happened to show up where LC was,to us,really does not matter.If the trio decide to makeup and become friends again,I say all the power to them.and wish them all well.

Dana might be right – or maybe since Lauren wants out, MTV is pulling the strings and forcing a reconciliation before she exits. I’m sure MTV has some control over Lauren’s future endeavors. Setting up for a Speidi spin off, perhaps?

What kind of a spin off show could Speidi have, really? Besides Spencer manipulating any kind of normal relationship Heidi attempts to have with another human being, or the constant affirmation of how much he detests L.C., what else do they have? In my opinion, without L.C., Speidi is nothing.
Anyways, I’m afraid I’m going to have to quit my closet addiction (yes, I watch in secret) of this show…I was informed half-way through the last episode that “The Hills” (via MTV.com) is not available to viewers outside the U.S. I’ve watched every episode of every season through http://www.mtv.com, so I feel a bit betrayed. I am no longer mourning the loss of TRL; I hope MTV suffers a slow death…well, maybe that’s a bit harsh. But, really, what am I taking from MTV by viewing their shows from another country? The U.S. has over 300 million people who can watch for free online! (and, by the way MTV, you could’ve let me finish the last 10 minutes!)
