Heidi Klum: ‘Got Milk?’ Maid
Heidi Klum has become the latest celeb to don the milk’stache in ads for the Got Milk? campaign as she is featured as a Bavarian milk maid in their newest Halloween-themed ad. Here is our first look at Heidi’s new Got Milk? ad:
The copy of the print ad reads: Haute Cowture Trick or treat? There’s no trick to it. The 9 essential nutrients in lowfat or fatfree milk make it the perfect after-treat treat for your whole family. So this Halloween, dress up your costume with a look that’s always in style. Wunderbar!
Aww, she makes a really cute milk maid I think. Heidi sat down to film a little behind-the-scenes video on the shoot for this ad campaign and talked a bit about why she decided to sign up for the campaign, why she likes milk for her family and more. The video is NOT to be missed because at the end of it, Heidi does some yodeling … some impressive yodeling, I might add. Click HERE to watch the video in full. if she knew the truth about how those animals were treated and the additives that are in milk would she still endorse that product? i hope not. the cows are artificially inseminated so they are able to produce milk. 2 days after the cows give birth, the calf’s are taken away to the veal crates and fed chemicals. we get the milk that was meant for the babies. we are the only mammals on the planet that drink milk after infancy and the only mammals that drink milk from another species. it is not healthy to drink milk but it is big business. educate your self about factory farming.

Not all cows are treated this way. Both of my parents and all of my aunts and uncles grew up on farms and NEVER did they artificially inseminate a cow for milk. Also the udder will harden if you don’t milk a cow, making it extremely uncomfortable.
Now Tamari I have no problem with you expressing your opinion but please get off your high horse and stop calling people uneducated just because they drink milk.
As for the ad, i think it’s adorable.

color me impressed, i always love heidi. no clue why so many germans are against her. it is kind of entertaining tho to hear my 87 year old great grandmother call her a bitch and spit at the ground whenever she comes on tv. feisty germans…. whatevz!

it’s a cute ad and i like the whole got milk campaign but i don’t understand why it’s so neccassary to put so much work and money into a milk campaign instead of a campaign about way more important stuff.

Tamari, I bet you have never spent time on a dairy in your life. My uncle owns a dairy and those cows are so spoiled. They are also dumber than any animal that I have ever met….but that is beside the point. Before you spat off all of your PETA statistics, you may want to actually visit a dairy. You may be surprised at how the whole operation is run, and you will want to drink milk once again.
