The fifth season of Lost doesn’t debut on ABC until “early 2009″ but today we get to feast our eyes on a new trailer that has made its way to the InterWeb that sets up the action for the coming season:

I must admit, I was very lukewarm on the last season of Lost … and altho the action picked up by the end of the season (with quite a few interesting developments), I wasn’t as gung-ho for the show as I had been in previous years. The trailer makes it very clear where things are going in Season 5 … but does it look interesting enough to all y’all? It appears that all the action will revolve on getting the just rescued Oceanic 6 back to the island. Doesn’t this smell of Prison Break‘s attempt to try and have the escapees break back into jail? I dunno … should we be worried?
