Daniel Radcliffe Reveals A Co-Star ‘Crush’
Daniel Radcliffe has confessed to writing steamy, sexual notes to one of his Equus co-stars in order to “wind up” the person … but it’s prolly not the co-star you’re imagining. No, it’s not theater veteran actor Richard Griffiths, it’s not even his female co-star Anna Camp … no, Dan has confessed to writing these sexy notes to 31 year old Lorenzo Pisoni, who plays the horse Equus on stage:

Daniel Radcliffe sends sexy letters to his ‘Equus’ co-star. The ‘Harry Potter’ actor is currently starring alongside Lorenzo Pisoni in the Broadway production of the play – in which Daniel bares all for his role as a horse-obsessed stable boy – and has revealed he gave the 31-year-old actor a series of raunchy notes on the show’s opening night. Daniel said: “We’re getting on very well indeed. I’ve written some really, really deeply sexual things on some of the cards I’ve given him for opening night. But just to wind him up, you know.” The 19-year-old star added he is in awe of Lorenzo, terming him “cool” and “gorgeous” before claiming he would even consider marrying him if he was gay. He said: “He’s great. He’s a truly remarkable man. If I was gay or a female I’d just want to marry him. He’s gorgeous, and he’s really cool bloke as well.”
Well then, isn’t that lovely. I must say, I am quite impressed that Daniel would have no qualms about saying these sorts of things about his very handsome co-star. Surely many people will take this revelation as proof that Dan is gay or even questioning but I honestly believe the opposite. It takes a person very secure with who they are to say things like this in public without fearing any reprisal. Sure, these comments may come back to haunt him but I’m pretty sure he’s OK with whatever anyone has to say about him. It’s impressive. That being said, I’m dying to know what sorts of “raunchy” things he wrote to Lorenzo … just curious ;)

Sorry trent.. but he sounds Gay to me.. between this and the urge to wear eye makeup as people reported…. No denying if you ask me.

But wearing make-up has nothing to do with sexuality

I agree, Trent..One of the things that I love about my friend Tony is that he never denys the hotness of a guy I may point out..He’s very straight, married and has 2 kids, but has no problems admitting if a guy is attractive..Why is it that if a straight girl acknowledges that another girl is hot or beautiful, it’s ok but it’s totally not the same for straight guys! So lame..Now, Daniel might be gay..Who knows? But his statements don’t prove a thing..

It doesn’t PLUS In England, sexuality and being gay (male or female) is not the same as it is here. Americans do everything over the top, from racism to feminism to shunning gays to religious views. They just aren’t like that over there (not to say it doesn’t happen, it’s just not a main topic).

I don’t think this makes him gay! That is wrong with this country he is just giving compliments to his co-star and now he is gay! It isn’t that big of deal. I for one love me some Danny boy!!

Ok i’ve re considered and maybe your right….

I agree with Trent too. I don’t think he’s gay. Make-up or commenting on someones looks has nothing to do with someones sexuality.

Agreed. My hubby, whom I recently got addicted to Project Runway, can notice a man’s hotness. He admits Clooney is hot.

This is a little OT, but for some reason I never imagined they’d have a person playing the horse in this play. Although I suppose it would make sense because horses would probably be really difficult to work with on stage. Weird.

Trent, your commentary is always spot-on.
p.s., I suddenly find Harry Potter extremely hot.

Dan is only speaking the truth. Lorenzo is HOT. I don’t think anyone can deny it.

Um, haven’t y’all ever heard the saying: “He’s not gay, he’s English?” They don’t tend to be as stereotypical as we are here in the States. Just sayin’. Go DanRad with your cute self!

PS I ain’t gonna lie, I’d love to find out what he wrote him. ;)

I worked with Lorenzo Pisoni on a show a loooong time ago. He is gorgeous, he is a complete sweetheart and he is straight ladies. Danielle Radcliffe is right to be in awe.

I totally agree with the comment “It takes a person very secure with who they are to say things like this in public without fearing any reprisal.” I respect someone way more if they are comfortable saying that. For years, women have been able to toe that line. It says a lot that a straight man can do that. Maybe we’re moving a step forward!
Yay Daniel! Glad he has good taste in men ;)

I’ve seen the play and Lorenzo is very hot indeed. And no Dan isn’t Gay, lol.
There’s nothing wrong with a straight guy finding another guy attractive, just like there’s nothing wrong with me, a straight girl, having a crush on Angelina Jolie.

Gay or straight, I don’t care. I’d just really like to be in the middle of a Daniel and Lorenzo sandwich. *drool*

Jackie, totally second you on that Ange crush – I am a straight married mom of two and I think I’d jump in bed with her if given the chance. Anywho…go Daniel. He is a very young man that is so incredibly in touch with himself and so amazingly mature. Gay he most certainly is not. What he is though is one heck of a catch!

Rightfully so! I saw Lorenzo in “The Great Gatsby” in Seattle, got the autograph and all! He is smokin!!!

He’s just a totally secure guy with a witty British sense of humour. As they say in Britain “Some people are gay – get over it!” It’s the guys who have no sense of humour and get pissed off about sexuality issues, that you have to take a second look at!
