Coffee Klatch
I spent another relatively quite night at home yesterday. As much as I promised myself I’d get the apartment tidied up for David’s arrival, I did my fair share of procrastinating. I did venture out yesterday evening for a snacky hang-out session with my friend Lizy. She’s gone thru a rough patch professionally and we decided to get together to talk and strategize about what her next steps might be. As always, I had a great time with Lizy … we also had a great time devouring the delicious food at Aroma Cafe in Studio City, CA :) We shared the most amazing piece of cherry pie … it was pretty damn good, y’all.
David flies in from NYC tonight and I’m very excited to see him. It’s been weeks now since we’ve been able to see one another so I’m really looking forward to having him here with me in SoCal :) I still have a few things to take care of before he arrives so that’s pretty much how the rest of my day looks.

Ahh! Why do you torture us with the amazing food you always seem to have at hand?? It’s becoming increasingly difficult for this Midwesterner, whose culinary selections range from Bob’s Big Boy to [fill in fast food joint of your choosing here], to keep up on your updates as they not only make my tummy cry but bring forth a tidal wave of jealousy I was previously unaware existed! ;)
