‘Changeling’ Premieres In NYC
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who, as you may recall, relocated their family to NYC earlier this week made a red carpet appearance at the New York Film Festival in NYC last night for the premiere of Ange’s new movie Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood. Here are a few pics of the happy couple (and Clint) on the red carpet last night, which marks the first time Brangelina attended a public event together since the birth of their twins back in July:

Having landed in New York earlier in the week, Angelina Jolie arrived with Brad PItt and walked the red carpet at the New York Film Festival for Saturday night’s premiere of her movie Changeling, a 1920’s thriller directed by Clint Eastwood. Asked if she felt nervous to be back in the spotlight, Jolie told PEOPLE, “Not nervous as much as I just took a deep breath because it¹s been so long. It felt a little strange.” The Manhattan visit marks the first time since the birth of their twins, Vivienne and Knox, that Jolie and Pitt have been in the city with their children. “Everybody’s great,” she told PEOPLE. “The babies are getting big and healthy and developing personalities.” As for being in the city that never sleeps, Jolie, 33, said, “We are a little bit [sleep deprived]. We have some help a couple of nights a week, so on those nights we catch up on our sleep.” Still, as ever, she looked ravishing – decked out in an Atelier Versace dress, Sergio Rossi shoes and Mikimoto pearl earrings and ring – after a day of taking her three eldest kids (Zahara, Maddox and Pax Thien) to Lee’s Art Store midtown, while Brad went downtown to see photographer Jerry Spagnoli at his studio. “I run around with all the other kids, and I’m breastfeeding, which I think is a part of your body’s recovery,” Jolie said. “I feel great [and] feel very happy that they’re healthy.”
You gotta love that no matter her commitments, no matter how bizzy her schedule is, Angelina (and Brad, actually) makes sure to carve out time to spend with her children doing stuff that is fun for them. After the jump, check out a few pics of Ange and the kiddies making their way out of Lee’s Art Store early yesterday afternoon …

Yeah, little Zahara looks like she ain’t havin’ any of it but she’s a doll nonetheless. I think you can tell that the kids are starting to get tired of the intense glare of the media spotlight … and it’s pretty much only just begun. I’m amazed at how big the Brangelina kids have gotten … it won’t be long before they’re going out all on their own. It really is great having the Brangelina brood back in the US … I’ve missed them.

You’re not joking about the kids getting fed up with the media. Some of the other shots from this set showed Maddox covering his face and Pax bolting off. I think they’ve well and truly had it with the paps! And that’s probably why we haven’t seen the twins. Brad and Ange have probably had enough of it, too…

She got new tattoos! If you look closely, and at the additional pictures from the premiere, she added the geographic coordinates for Knox & Vivienne underneath the four she has for the older kids!

Six kids and this woman looks ridiculous. Jesus. The three biologicals have one hell of a gene pool.

Those children deserve a better life. They may have access to everything money can buy, but they don’t even have a semblance of stability, privacy, or freedom. It’s really sad.

She looks so much butter with a little weight on her. Don’t take it off Ange, it gives Brad something to hang on to!!!

Julie, I don’t think that having your picture taken or being followed by paparazzi, hence, having no privacy can actually affect those kids. They all have two parents that love them and take every chance they get to spend time with them. I don’t see the kids running around with nannies all the time and I don’t think they lack stability. Angie seems a very centered woman and very down to earth (at least now she does hahahaha) and I think those kids are loved and have the attention they need.

julie, get a life of your own, please. The children are fine, trust me, they are far better off with the jolie-pitts than in some God forsaken country, living in poverty so chill with that.

She has got to be the hottest girl on earth. How can anyone look like that after delivering 3 kids and looking after 3 more.
For the critics, I’ve never seen a private photo of her by herself without her kids and I do believe she’s one dedicated mommy so stop criticizing her and adore her for who she is like the rest of us:)

Love the family. They are so cute.Brad and Anjie are always so loving and dedicated to the children. So the little ones are left home, good, they certainly do not need the flash of the paps cameras.Anyway the paps are woves and have no respect for anybody including the babies. All of you criticizing must look into your own life and begin fixing it.Hello Julie, need a psychiatris.Walk the yellow pages, bitch.

Um. Yeah, it is called “photo op” people!

It kills me that you people are so quick to defend your precious Brangelina that you criticize ME for pointing out how miserable those kids must be. Think about an average “Army Brat” kid, how much they have to move, and what a tough time they have. Now add paparazzi, language barriers, etc., and consider whether love and money are enough to make them turn out well-adjusted and happy. I’m sorry, but no. But feel free to keep referring me to “psychiatris” (psychiatrists?) out of one side of your mouth, while agreeing that the paparazzi are “woves” (wolves?) with the other.

Angelina looks good finally having some meat on her bones!
October 6th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Julie, I don’t think you need a psychiatrists (though I wouldnt mind one for myself hahaha) and I dont think that agression is a good way to express an opinion (not talkin about you obviously) but you have to keep an open mind. You can’t just assume those kids are not gonna be well adjusted or unhappy just cos they move around and are always getting their picture taken.
Those kids are going to learn more languages that we can imagine, they travel around and get to see the world, they are in touch with different cultures and people and that is a very rich experience that not everybody gets to live. This kids are going to grow up learning about tolerance, not easy growing up in a big family and one that has kids from all over the world, I can assure you they won’t have a bit of racism or intolerance. You can live in the same place until you die and still be a disfunctional bastard, it is true that growing up all over the place can have certain disadvantage, no sense of belonging but hey… they can’t have it that easy, give them at least one excuse to go to the shrink and complain about their parents.
It is not fair to say they deserve a better life, what does that mean? People in the spot light shouldnt have kids cos they are going to have their picture taken? I dont think it’s fair, so many people have kids when they shouldnt EVER!
October 6th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
Well said, Pam.
julie, to be fair, I don’t think you can compare those kids to “army brats”..although I personally don’t see what’s so devastating to be either. You get to live in different places and experience new things. As long as the family life is stable, those kids seem to turn out fine.
October 7th, 2008 at 11:24 am
I am so happy for the “Pams’s” of the world that know how to bring a constructive thought process to the world of Brad and Angelina. Those children will be fine. They are a family of 2 adults that love their children and 6 children that love the parents and each other. I am certain that the laughter, squeals, cries, giggles all make their multiple houses a home
