Britney Spears’s ‘Circus’ Is Comin’ To Town

Rumored tracklist hits the Internets
October 31st, 2008

Britney.com (one of two official websites for Britney Spears) has been updated with a new promo poster to advertise the release of Britney’s new album, Circus, which is due to hit stores on December 2 … check it out:

From Britney.com: Before y’all start freaking, this is NOT the Circus album cover, but it’s (almost) just as cool. It’s the first (of many) promotional items you’ll be seeing — in record stores, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. I don’t know about you, but I got really excited when I saw it. The design is HOT.

We are still more than a month away from the album’s release so I’m sure there will be other promotional items coming our way. The tracklist for the album has NOT been officially released but Pink reader Mick sends in a rumored tracklist for the disc (with producing credits for each track) that sounds plausible but, again, is not confirmed. After the jump, check out the rumored tracklisting for Circus

01. Womanizer (Nikesha Briscoe, Rapheal Akinyemi, The Outsyders) 3:43
02. Circus (Lukasz Gottwald, Max Martin, Cathy Dennis, Dr. Luke) 3:39
03. Put Me Out (Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winnberg, Henrik Jonback, Sean Garrett, Bloodshy & Avant) 3:15
04. Kill the Lights featuring Missy Elliott (Nate Hills, James Washington, Keri Hilson, Marcella Araica, Missy Elliott, Danja) 3:34
05. Mannequin (Britney Spears, Karlsson, Winnberg, Jonback, Bloodshy & Avant) 3:27

10. Fall Out (Lil Jon, Hills, Washington, Hilson, Araica Danja) 3:24
11. Room Without a View (Kara DioGuardi, Gottwald, Dr. Luke) 4:57
12. Change of Tone (Britney Spears, Guy Sigsworth) 3:56

Bonus Tracks

13. One More Time (Max Martin) 3:50
14. Alarms (Britney Spears, Jerkins Darkchild) 3:18

The producers and songwriters do match up with folks that Britney is rumored to be working with but … who knows. While this tracklisting may not turn out to be the final, official tracklisting I imagine that some of this list may end up on the final album. I just can’t wait to hear it … any of it!

I am soooooo EXCITED about this. Like, how kids get excited over Harry Potter excited. I cannot WAIT for this album to drop. It’s going to be INSANE! I cannot wait for the rest of the songs. They are surely going to be as good as Womanizer, maybe even better. :)

  2. Ashley Says:

    britters!!! greatest comeback EVER!

  3. theHehe Says:

er. i don’t but this as a tracklist. producers dont match up, but also she had talked in an interview about a song called “my boys” or something to that effect, which i dont see there…. i’ve heard about “one more time” though, sounds awesome

  4. COSMO GUY Says:

Looks like it can be real but this same thing has happened with all her previous albums….only time will tell!

  5. CC Says:

    YAY!

  6. Nicola Says:

Womanizer is *poor*. She could sing ‘Wheels on the Bus’ and you saps will adore her still. She is still a shit-poor mother who puts her career WAY ahead of the sons she lost. You people seem to be really okay with that. As long as she’s making sub-par records, lip-syncing and doing choreographed dance moves, you’ll think she’s the best thing since sliced bread.
Britney’s best days are long gone. It’s time you lot realised that.

  7. Bruce Says:

For someone who talks badly about Britney i’m surprised you went out of your way just to write those things. Obviously she’s kept you interested since you’ve come to a Britney Spears loving site. Don’t hate, congratulate.

  8. jojo Says:

Nicola needs to get a life…its called fans u dumb bitch, you’re obviously not a fan of Britney. People who talks trash about other people are really insecure about themselves. Maybe your days of bashing is long gone.

  9. T Says:

Nicola, I couldn’t disagree more. I don’t think she puts her career in front of her boys, I think she focuses on what’s in front of her. Without her career she has no income, and Kevin is sucking her dry, so what do you expect her to do? She may not be the most amazing singer to ever grace the earth, but she is one hell of a preformer.

    I agree Bruce, don’t hate…congratulate. :)

  10. sara Says:

JoJo…talking trash makes you insecure? so your calling Trent insecure? cause he’s talked trast plently of times. its her opinion shes aloud to have it. not everyone is in love with britney. but she has a point, doesnt matter what this girl does, good or bad, you all still congratualte her & give a pat on the head, when sometimes she doesnt deserve it.

  11. Kendra Says:

Sara, you’re right..Everyone is ALLOWED (correct spelling, btw) to have an opinion..So when Brit’s fans think that she’s done something awesome and “give her a pat on the head”, that’s us having OUR opinion..You may think she doesn’t deserve it, but some of her fans do..You should practice what you preach and respect other people’s opinions..

  12. sara Says:

i didnt say she never deserved it, pretty sure i said SOMETIMES she doesnt. but because someone doesnt have the same thoughts as you brit lovers, you guys pounce on them and start talking down like the person knows nothing about anything. its great that she has such fans that will stick with her through thick & thin, but not everyone is going to be like that.

  13. Jo Says:

Nicola – I’d say 90% of celebrities put their careers ‘WAY ahead’ of their children. It seems to be the nature of the beast. So while I agree that it may not be the most admirable way to raise children, I hope you realize the blame should be spread evenly across several celebrities and not just on the one most publicized.

  14. DAVID Says:

Christina has already done the Circus thing on her last cd and a remix of her first single.

  15. Mike Says:

    Nicola-

    Three words for you~

    It’s Britney, bitch!

Obviously, Britney has you on the palm of her hands coz you got so riled up to comment on something you supposedly do not care much about.

Britney owns your soul. Deal with it.

  16. yeah_right?! Says:

Sara, talking trash is different from having an opinion (i.e. that’s what you call a critique which is what Trent does, and not trash-talking). Let’s not get those two things mixed up.

And Britney FTW! Get it girl!

  17. ebgb Says:

Haters beware… this chick is in it to win it. Circus is sure to be the comeback her FANS have all been waiting for. Fans beware, the continued success of Brit is about to send haters in to over-drive. Ignore the hate. The negativity is based solely on jealousy. Plus, if someone is going to hate another person (let alone a celebrity), they are probably used to people picking on and hating on them. It’s retribution…misdirected.

  18. ROBB-E Says:

OMG! I can’t wait for this Circus to hit town!

I love all the information, images and videos we are getting. She finally gets what the fans really wants. I loved Blackout, I’m sure I will love Circus even more! Hope this tracklist is true. Britney is back to rock our world!

  19. Kent Says:

If this tracklist contains any accuracy then I’m quite tickled about the Missy Elliot collaborative efforts. And, Cathy Dennis is co-writer of the title track. Didn’t she also write Kylie’s ‘Can’t Get You Outta My Head’? Just imagine if another tune of that calibre shows up on this album .. that’d be super duper cool.

  20. ROBB-E Says:

Plus I believe this is gonna be a Futuristic Circus themed album and tour. Not like Xtina’s “amazing” B2B-Tour…. which was more a classic themed stage and feel.

  21. tOnnY Says:

Kent, Cathy Dennis has worked with Brit Before (Toxic) so yeah it’s gonna be a hot-ass-record….

I like The Poster, i’m Happy they’re promoting, i read on Breatheheavy.com that TRL is kinda confirming Britney’s perfomance on the show’s finale….i so really hope it is true….

I don’t think the Tracklist is Official, Brit Worked with “Lady GaGa” in some tracks (2 actually), i don’t see them here, anyway i just hope, we get to see Brit Live in the next few days….
oh And Nicola: whatever, she’s got her #1, and you’re just a bitter hater commenting on Britney’s Thread….

  22. steve Says:

britney worked with lady gaga on this album.
and i aint seein no lady gaga!
    faaaaaaake.
    =/

  23. Nicole Says:

its never a brit thread without some drama.
i dont know how legit the tracklisting is, cause im pretty sure chris brown was writing like 3 songs for her…and i cant see them not using atleast one of them.

  24. Courtney Says:

So… Britney.com is reporting that this is the tracklist:

    Official Circus Tracklist:
    1. Womanizer
    2. Circus
    3. Out From Under
