Brangelina Spend An Afternoon In The 9th Ward
Angelina Jolie and sons Maddox Chivan and Pax Thien joined dad Brad Pitt for an afternoon of playtime at a 9th Ward Housing Project in New Orleans, LA yesterday. The fam did not let the light rain spoil any of their playground fun … here are a few pics of Ange, Brad, Maddox and Pax at one of the newly erected playgrounds in a reconstructed area of the 9th Ward:
The fam didn’t spent too much time enjoying the playground, in fact, the family didn’t spend too much time in New Orleans, LA overall. They have already packed up and made their way back to their new home in Nice, France. Here are a few pics of the entire Brangelina brood upon arrival in Nice this morning:
You may recall that the family made their way to NYC late last week and then to New Orleans a couple of days ago and they are now already back in Nice. I wondered if they were planning on spending some time back here in the US so I guess I got my answer … nope, they really only flew back to the US to take care of some biz in New York and Louisiana and, once completed, returned to their French estate. Well, it was nice having them back on US soil, if for a short time. I suspect they won’t be back again until duty calls once again.

I keep wondering if those kids can still be “normal” when travelling so much… I mean, how could they have friends, for example ?

Despite some of the criticism of their parenting skills, I must admit (as a parent) I think they are doing a good job. It cannot be easy to be celeb parents and certainly not celeb parents to six kids all under age 10…….so let’s give them some kudos for making sure they take their kids with them and not leave them in the care of others. I like that. Sure, the kids do need stability, but maybe the stability is that they are always with their parents. Also, I think the house (if you can call it that) in France is superb for their privacy, etc. And yet they still come back to do the things they need to do in the U.S. Well done Brangelina………well done!!! ;-)

Yes they can be normal. They are lucky and get many different views of the world which is awesome! I think they make an awesome family!!!

Of course they can be normal – which to me means, simply, having fun and being loved by mom and dad. Once again, Ange’ looks super…I just love her black dresses!!!

I saw some great pics of Angie in Brad’s arms while they watch the kids play over at Pop Sugar this morning that should put all those nasty rumors of family strife behind the pair.
The kids look great, healthy and happy and rarely freaked out by all the cameras that are always EVERYWHERE their parents go. What exactly the Joli-Pitts are doing in their raising is completely unknown but I’d say they’re doing a pretty amazing job of things so far.

I think that’s the beauty of the friends question. There are so many of them that they are friends with each other! I think your home is where your family is & their family is together 90% of the time. Some families in America home school so do this one. The tutors just travel with them. The children bar their biological children and Pax would most likely have died if they hadn’t been adopted so credit where credit is due. Brangelina are doing their best :)

yeah, and let’s keep in mind that all of their traveling is done on private planes! it’s not like they’re sitting around the airport. they’re probably very comfortable and sleep when they need to. i, too, think they’re doing a great job of being together as much as possible.

Honestly, Brad cheated on Aniston during his marriage so people hate on Jude Law for cheating on Miller with the nanny, why is it okay that pitt cheats on Aniston with Angie?
I’m surprised that people comment so positively on PICTURES of this family. A picture is one frame of an entire day in the life. I’m sure being a celebrity and having nannies running around with the kids most of the time (not photographed) is a very difficult parenting job. Mothers and fathers in the middle class who don’t take private jets all over the world and who don’t own a castle that’s value could feed all of Africa for a year (even though Jolie’s a UN Ambassador).
Sorry I’m ranting, but these people have enough without us praising their every move. We don’t know them, they act in movies…most of which are crappy movies.

poopypants, I’m sure JA moved on, why can’t her fans? cheating is wrong but so is holding a grudge for yrs on end.
Jude seems like he strayed cuz he can. He made an error, thats why he went begging to Sienna.
Brad wasn’t happy with JA, that’s why he found AJ and now has a family with her that he dreamt of or whatever. He’s a dad now, and a family man.
All of the involved party seems like they went their ways and living their preferred life. LET IT GO.

I love the shot of Brad pointing to something and Angelina pretending to care. She’s not even looking at the same thing! And is it just me or does she look really out of it in the photos over the last week?
