Beyoncé Has A Message For Fans
Beyoncé Knowles has updated her official website with a special message for loyal fans of her music. Unlike Jason Mraz’s latest political-minded online treatise (which we got to read earlier today), Beyoncé isn’t talking politics, she’s talking music (apparently, a whole lotta music). Here is the text of Beyoncé’s message in full:

I wanted to address my fans about my upcoming album.
I have worked on this album for close to one year. I have taken the time so I can create my sound. Something that says who I am at this stage in my life. I have poured my heart and soul into it. It is my baby. It is the most time I have spent on any project since my first records as a member of Destiny’s Child when I was 15 years old. I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me. I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me. The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side. I have taken risks here. I am not afraid and my music will explain it all. There is no label or tag on my sound. It’s me and I am so excited to share it with the world on November 18.
Love,
Beyoncé
Damn. 70 songs is a lotta songs. This album is either gonna be a doozy of a monster hit or it’s gonna be a jumble of incoherent mish-mash. You may recall that Beyoncé recently shot a music video for the first of two new singles set to hit the airwaves in a couple of weeks and will go on sale on November 4th. I like Beyoncé’s music, she generally turns it out when she puts out new stuff … I’m really looking forward to her new material. The album’s title has yet to be released, tho. Mebbe in B’s next letter to fans she can give us some more insight as to what we can expect from Mrs. Jay-Z in the weeks to come.

Beyonce, in my opinion, is all right. Sure, she does have good songs but maybe its because I don’t like her as a person. I’m not sure what it is, she just has that, “I can do anything better than you” type of vibe. Especially when she sings or dances, she sometimes overdoes it to the top… I thought her first album was superb, her second, however, was absolutely horrible and mindless.

I can’t stand Beyonce as a person either. I think She does have talent, her voice is amazing. I think She’s pretty too, but I don’t understand why people are infatuated with her. I’ve seen better, heard better, and know of better people with better morals.
I’ve so over her.

Edit: Should have been “I’m so over her”

Wow. Agreed. She seems to have an air of entitlement and I just can’t stand it. She never seems real. Even this statement sounds like a publicist wrote it. I just don’t think there’s anything genuine about her. Like her songs, though.
