Avril Lavigne & Deryck Whibley Show Their Unity
Last weekend new claims came to light that insisted that married couple Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley (of Sum 41) were headed for splitsville … so, to curb those reports, the couple stepped out arm in arm from Madeo restaurant here in LA last night — which clearly proves that the couple are still happily together:
Avril Lavigne and her rocker husband Deryck Whibley put on a united front for the press as they stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles on Monday amid rumours of a marriage split. The couple, who wed in 2006, was alleged to be on the verge of breaking-up, with the National Enquirer claiming Lavigne and Whibley “have been growing apart for months”. But the Sk8er Boi singer and the Sum 41 frontman defied critics when they emerged from Madeo restaurant on Monday night holding hands after enjoying a dinner date. Lavigne and Whibley have yet to confirm or deny the reports, and a spokesperson for the couple had yet to return requests for comment …
Why comment? Doesn’t hand-holding and eating out tell the tale? Whew, I now know that I can sleep soundly at night knowing these two are still happily attached. Who’s with me?

proves nothing. note the body language. i show my man i love him by awkwardly walking/half dragging him while we are walking. i also try not to look too happy. i wouldn’t want anyone to think i really was happy with my man. wtf?! if this is for show, why not make it a show? it kinda looks like they aren’t really thrilled to be together. just calling it like i see it.

Well, if they aren’t happy, why the hell are they still together? No use staying together for appearances sakes. If it’s not working, then split up.

Avril Lavigne is a married woman, 23 or 24, and she still dresses like a 15 year old hanging around Hot Topic in the mall.

Pretty sure I wouldn’t look too happy to leave a restaurant with my husband only to have a couple dozen pap’s meet me at the door, flashing cameras in my face. I’d be dragging him behind trying to get to the damn car and away from them.

Hannah, if they don’t like it, they’re welcome to move out of LA. Not like either of them is doing anything that requires them to live there. Clearly this dinner was a response to the rumors. If they went back to Canada, they’d be left alone, but that’s obviously not what they want.

well i dont think that it is an act they are putting on for the media. its not like they are a super power movie/tv couple who only dates for the media to turn on or go see their new movie. i think that they are actually really happy together. plus how does the way avril dress have to do with anything? if he hated the way that she dressed why marry her in the first place? i dont think avril dresses like a teen . she dresses how she wants and doesnt care what others think. i dress mostly like avril and i dont care what others HAVE to say.

Avril looks really upset in these photos! Neither of them looks happy and it almost looks like she has been crying.
