Angelina Jolie Bares Her Soul & More In ‘W’ Magazine
A couple of weeks ago we got our first look at the cover of W magazine that features Angelina Jolie breastfeeding one of her babies on the cover in a photo that was taken by none other than Brad Pitt himself. The week after we got to see a few more photos from the spread but nothing that was racy by any means. This week the magazine is out and there do seem to be a couple of risqué yet arty NSFW images of Angelina in the photospread. First, let’s take a look a two really sweet photos of Angelina breastfeeding:
I, for one, see nothing wrong with these photos … in fact, I find them stunningly beautiful. She looks so peaceful and natural. They are great photos. I understand that there are around 30 pages of photos in this issue of W magazine … including one where Angelina is snapped wearing a very sheer top which practically exposes one of her breasts. Now, I can understand why Brad Pitt would want to take a photo like that but I don’t know why either of them would want to have a photo like that published in a major magazine. It’s not really clear how much Ange is exposing in the first picture (black and white can be very shadowy, which is why it’s used in arty pics like these) but homegirl is deffo showing off her hot bod in that second pic. No question the photos are beautiful but I’m just really surprised that Brangelina would be cool showing off this much sexiness in her first photospread since giving birth. The pics are hot, I’m deffo gonna have to pick up this issue to see the whole spread. What do y’all think … is it all too much?

A super important part of the article discusses how Brad finds her even more sexy now that’s she had kiddos. I think it’s a really beautiful display of confidence in her maternal body and how they, as a couple, can realize that power and beauty. GORGEOUS photos.

I got the magazine in the mail yesterday and was just in awe by the whole spread. It really shows her being a woman and a mother. Brad did a stunning job with these photographs. No other photographer would be able to shoot these, they’re just too intimate. I found the mood to be very peaceful and secretive. I don’t think there was anything hot about it. But they are absolutely beautiful.

I think the first two photos are very natural and peaceful. The second two, for me, go too far in that I can’t understand why she would shun media attention and then publish such private photos. It’s not that they are risque, but I would think you would want to keep some memories and photos between you and your partner.

These may be great pics, but why do you want the whole world seeing your partners body, it’s not a matter of fear of nudity, it’s a matter of keeping something beautiful between two people private and personal.

These are beautiful pictures and not any more revealing than other breastfeeding photos in parenting magazines. While I really enjoy seeing them, a part of me wishes that they’d have kept them private since they already live such public lives.

I think one of the main reasons her and Brad are all oohing and ahhing avoer their stupid family is to take attention away from the fact that the two of them completely obliterated Jennifer Aniston in a very public way. I hope they both burn in hell.

It’s Angelina Jolie…how can anyone be surprised that she’s showing an outline of her breast? The photos are stunning and just confirm her natural breathtaking beauty. And I think they also showcase another one of Brad’s talents. Job well done! Can’t wait to see the rest of the pics.

Oh Carrie! Don’t be so angry! They’re just people living their lives. Everyone breaks hearts, and has their hearts broken. Everybody poops. I don’t really think they deserve to “burn in hell”. At least they take a bit of time out from making buckets of cash, for some humanitarian causes. Surely that tips the karma scales a little? As a mother myself, I’m glad that people still find post motherhood beautiful. I certainly didn’t feel beautiful after having my baby, so it’s nice to hear people talking about a Mom as beautiful and sexy. YAY! PS. Baboon only has 2 “b”s, not 3. Sorry. Spelling errors are a pet peeve of mine. Please call me out when I make one ;-)

I don’t think they deserve the rage and ire from some of the commenters above, if you don’t like it… don’t buy it. That’s the beauty of America, people. No one seems to keep in mind that situations like Jen-Brad-Angie happen all the time to everyday folks. Relationships fall apart, that’s life.
No matter what you may think of the pair’s personal lives, you can’t deny that these photos are absolutley breathtaking. Brad had a great eye, besides it’s easy to take pictures of those that you love.

@Posh: If it were me, I’d rather choose what people saw, live me life as normally as I could and release them myself, than have people invading my private life and taking photos that lack personal meaning.
Therefore if they want to shun the paps, thats great. If they want to show these photos, that’s great too.
I think what happened with Jennifer Aniston sucks, but it’s done. Saying ‘I hope they burn in hell’ for it is just too much. I don’t see an actress or a homewrecker here, just a mother.

Gorgeous shots! I love them. I think the reason why they chose to put them into the spread is that when you’re breastfeeding, the breasts become a useful part of your anatomy rather than a sexual form. Believe me, my husband is so much less turned on with my breasts since he watches my son nurse a million times a day. They’re just really amazing, useful parts of my body now. Show them off I say! She deserves it!

I saw them all today while getting my hair did, pretty risque! She’s naked in a lot of pictures but they’re very grainy and 20’s era looking. Surprising when they seem to be so private. Poor Jen, first Ang admits to the “falling in love on the set” and now these.

@ Nicola: I agree that all of this “burn in hell” stuff is ridiculous. Obviously Jennifer is over it and living life; people should realize that bad things happen. My personal opinion is that it’s a tad bit hypocritical to be angry when the paparrazi follow your children if you’re showcasing your private moments so, but I can definitely understand where you and everyone else come from when you say that she looks beautiful. They can choose what to do, and they are great pics :)

My goodness! Such anger. This is an entertainment blog, not angry yelling at anonymous peopple land. Trent asks for our opinions and that is what people give. Not for anyone to judge our comments as anything other then pure opinions.
As for the pictures, she is lovely and fortunate to have such a beautiful body. I would flaunt it too if I was a billionaire and famous!

You’ve got to love celebs. Half of them cry and complain about how the media invades their privacy, and the others pose for breastfeeding pics to publish in magazines. Don’t get me wrong, I think the photos are beautiful…but not everything should be in front of the whole world to see. Call me crazy or old fashioned, but I think it’s nice when some things are kept private and sacred between a family.

ALL celebs when they have movies to promote do interviews and magazine covers!!!!
They are REQUIRED to promote their movies. Angelina is not the only celeb that talks about her kids and that does a magazine shoot.
Also if Jen fans want people to believe Jen is over the divorce then they should get over it themselves and stop being so angry about a divorce that happened between people they don’ even know!
These photos show less then what Angelina has shown in some of her movies and other photo shoots.

Daphne, it’s not posing when your partner is at home with you and he is capturing a very intimate part of being a mother. If you looked at the WHOLE photo spread it’s not just these photos, there’s her with her children, a very cute one of Zahara walking in Ange’s heels and Ange also in heels holding Z’s hand. There’s here sitting and laughing with Maddox who is sitting in another chair. I really wish that Trent would show more than just these photos, because it’s really bringing these out of context. She said that the whole photo spread would tell more than her interview and I think she’s right, but when you show only a few and especially these it looks like it’s just saying “Breasts” and I don’t believe that’s what she’s trying to say.

Yeesh. Breastfeeding is NOT an initmate and private moment to be kept within the family. It’s feeding the baby. Nothing more. Women all over the world do it every day, in public even!, and in the west face some very weird hangovers from perfect strangers. I applaude the breastfeeding photos here, reminding people that it’s the natural and normal way to feed a baby. Anytime. Any where. If you think it’s an ‘private’ thing, re-examine female biology and your own hang ups. Oh, and why the hell can’t people let the whole triangle thing go already? It’s not like it directly affected your life in any way, so wtf? Does it make you feel superior in some bizzare way to call a woman you don’t know a whore or a slut? Grow up!

I think the pictures are absolutely beautiful. While I may not agree with how Brad and Angelina handled their relationship initially, who am I to judge? They look like they really enjoy their children and that’s a wonderful thing.
About the breastfeeding, I was not a breastfed baby and when my mother found out I was going to breast feed my children, she looked at me like I had two heads. After nursing three kids, I can honestly say it was a great and positive experience for me. It is demanding and yes, the boob has to come out sometimes in public, but there are discreet ways to nurse your baby if you find yourself in that situation.
