Alyson Hannigan Is Pregs!
OMG! People magazine is announcing the BEST NEWS EVER this morning with their exclusive report that Alyson Hannigan (who currently stars on the hit CBS series How I Met Your Mother but is prolly most beloved for her role as Willow Rosenberg on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and her husband Alexis Denisof (who you may recall expertly played the role of Wesley Wyndam-Pryce on both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel) have announced that they are going to have their first child next Spring!
Actress Alyson Hannigan is pregnant, her rep Megan Moss tells PEOPLE exclusively. The How I Met Your Mother star, 34, and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, 42, will welcome their first child this spring. The couple met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer during the 1999-2000 season and were married at the Two Bunch Palms resort near Palm Springs, Calif., on Oct. 11, 2003.
Woot! This is such amazing news!!! To my knowledge, Aly and Alexis will be the first Buffyverse couple to bring forth a child together. Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase on both Buffy and Angel, gave birth to a son back in 2003 but she was not married to another Buffy actor ;) Here are a couple pics of Alyson steppin’ out in Santa Monica, CA yesterday with some take-out:
She ain’t sportin’ a baby bump yet but I will happily be on the look-out for new photos of the beautiful mom to be. Alyson Hannigan is not only beloved for her work on Buffy but many folks loved her comedic turn in the American Pie movies and, of course, for her current stint on How I Met Your Mother. This is just the best news and I couldn’t be happier for the parents-to-be. Much, much love and congrats!

LOVE IT. I have been re-watching BTVS lately on DVD. I’m on Season 4 when Willow & Tara are starting to fall for each other. I LOVE WILLOW. Aly is just a great actress…very underrated.

Very happy for them both! I think Alexis needs to make another appearance on HIMYM, he was in a couple eps in Season 1 and he was fantastic! Someone give that man a job!

That’s fantastic! Alyson Hannigan is one of my favorite actresses ever! I am so happy that the buffyverse couple is happily married and now expecting a mini Willow-Wesley! So much congratulations to them! The child will be beautiful!
