A Stunning Britney Spears Makes Some Kids Very Happy Today
Earlier today we saw some very pretty pictures from Britney Spears’s NYC activities from yesterday but get yourselves ready for a whole lotta hotness from our dear Britney. Here are a few pics of an absolutely stunning Britney Spears as she surprised a group of children at John Philip Sousa Junior High School #142 in the Bronx, NY earlier today. Sure these young’s prolly had no idea who she was (after all, she has been out of the kiddie market for some time now) but I’m sure they were very happy that she decided to pay them a visit nonetheless:

Yeah, I’m not exactly sure what the reason for Britney’s visit to this school was but by the looks on the kids’ faces, she was a very welcome visitor. Britney brought along her manager Larry Rudolph and her older brother Bryan Spears to accompany her on this visit. I just can’t get over how great she looks. That’s my girl, y’all. Don’t you think she looks amazing?

What an unappropriate dress to wear to an ELEMENTARY School!!!!!!!! Yes, please let your saggy teets fall out of your dress – those kids are traumatized enough by having to listen to your oversynthesized music…. Lack of boundaries is her MAJOR issue!

Who’s Trend? In any event, my point is that young kids may have been shielded from Britney’s most recent sexualized music from the past few years so young kids may not be as familiar with her as the previous gen of kids may have been. She hasn’t courted the kid market for years now, they’re more familiar with Miley Cyrus these days.

I am glad she is doing well and she looks great, but I don’t get it. I mean, some of her songs are fun and danceable, but that’s about it. She doesn’t sing well, her songs are not up to par with Madonna or Janet, Gloria, etc, and her videos bore me. I find it interesting Trent that you love Brit Brit and Sioux. But then again, I love Sioux and Karen Carpenter so go figure! It is awesome Britney is on the road to recovery but I would not pay to see her live. I would go if someone paid for me, though..just to get drunk and hear Toxic live!

Absolutely gorgeous….I hate how people are so judgemental of her. She’s probably visiting these kids so spread the love. And I’m sure they know who she is since mostly all of them are holding a Britney Spears CD for her to sign.

I’m usually pretty laid back about this kind of thing, but I’d seriously question why the school couldn’t find a more appropriate person to interact with my child than Britney Spears. It’s wonderful that her life is back on track, but in recent memory she hasn’t been anyone to admire or emulate. Unless she was there talking about how drugs, etc. almost ruined her life, which I doubt.

I think it’s cute how in loooove you are with her. Though I don’t exactly feel the same way I appreciate how ya feel brother. I can certainly say Madonna or Janet gets me all goosed in much the same way.
Brit Brit does look absolutely faboo though! I love that dress! She looks great in that more conservative color dress and shoes. She looks so together. I can honestly say I’m very, very happy to see how far she’s come from the mess she spiraled down into about a year ago. I’m not her number one fan, but I’m definitely pulling for her to live a happy, successful life with her children and her career.

Agree 110% with twigged! Britney’s breakdown was a result of starting very young in the business, mishandling by her managers, and her lame mother. I don’t have a kids and I’m not a parent but her Mom must have done something wrong just like Kathy Hilton. 1 pops one out at 17, the other has a breakdown and is reported suicidal. You can’t blame Lynne Spears for all of it, but I’m sure she probably raised both girls, and their brother, the wrong way.

Trent, come on!!!! Everyone knows who Britney is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sexualized music has nothing to do with it. Kids listen to everything, you know this!!!! You could ask every single little kid that she saw if they have heard the song Toxic or Gimme More. They would probably say, “Shit, I have it on my iPod!”

I’ve been a fan of Britney Spears for a long time now, her songs are really great for dancers like me, and everytime someone said how bad of a singer she was or how she only messes up her life, I would stick up for her and say that everyone has problems and issues that they go through even if you are a famous pop singer, and that she needed support, not constant criticism. Today, looking at these pictures it really made me glad that I said all those things before, and knowing that if Britney can go back to being her good old self and happy, maybe I can too. Hey, I’m a teenager, I need someone to look up to, don’t I? (:

Actually Peter, a lot of kids DON’T listen to everything. I have an 8 yo who doesn’t listen to Britney. My daughter was too young when Britney was really popular before and when she went off the rails, I didn’t expose her to all of that crap. In the meantime Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are everywhere and even though they all give me the shits, my kiddo loves them. To most kids this age, Britney is not a popular choice.

Laura, I never said Janet and Madonna sing well. I meant they have better songs, but that’s my opinion. You can’t compare Vogue to Hit me baby or Miss You Much to Sometimes..Britney has had memorable songs? Ok that’s pushing it, honestly. She is far from the Queen, or Princess, of pop. At least Christina A can sing, no matter what anyone thinks of her. Madonna and Janet have decent voices which have improved with age. Britney’s will too, if she cuts out the smoking.

1.) some of you are too judgmental. WE don’t really know what Britney’s ordeal was From 2007-Jan 08, everything we know is speculation from magazines and gossip blogs…but are they Britney Spears? NO, they are reporting from second hand info and some of you are too gullible to fall for it. Give her time to defend her self
2.) IF folks look up to Madonna who has had a very sexual past, and Janet who got married young to an alcoholic…why can’t folks look up to Britney who may or may not have had a mental issue that SHE DIDNT KNOW ABOUT?
3.) Judging from Womanizer she does know what music is about….Umbrella was a number 1 hit, Britney needs a number 1 hit to sustain her career…This is not the comeback single, this is the heater single…kinda how Mariah Carey released that crappy it’s like that as a first single and THEN released WE Belong together…
4.) Britney does have classic songs, you may not like to admit that but she does. Everyone knows at least 3 songs by her. Baby One More Time, Toxic, Gimme More, just to name a few….
5.) Britney has proven she has a decent voice listen to Everytime, listen to Someday…Janet’s voice has deteriorated with age, and Madonna’s voice is starting to as well…Christina does have a voice but doesn’t cancel Britney out

That is so amazing that she was there just to present her donation. I think that while she will need help for a while, and she was far from admirable 8 months ago, and she may or may not have been raised properly, but she is doing so well now and is really on the upswing. I think her music is getting the respect it deserves, at least from the people who matter. She looks amazing. And for those of you who don’t think she is a talented singer, go youtube her Star Search acts or any of her on MMC, she sounds AMAZING. Such a strong voice and amazing presence. For those of you who have never seen her live, and I don’t mean Disney channel or HBO recording, you need to shut the hell up, plain and simple. The girl puts on an amazing show. A lot of you me NOT pay to see her tour, and that is fine with me. I don’t want to hear your bitching anywhere near my seats when I go to enjoy the show.

Even still, EA uses her face. She makes them money. I used to work in a department store selling perfume, she makes them a TON of money. We used to have contests to see who could see things BESIDES Britney’s perfume. It all smells really good and comes in a really nice looking package.

JarEdina Monsoon you don’t have to like Britney but you cannot deny that she has had some memorable songs over the years. Jante and Madonna’s voices have not “improved with age” but have sadly deteriorated. Yes Christina can sing but she has not has not made a culural impact like Britney Spears.

seriously, why do people have to be so mean? I’m fifteen years old and I love Britney, and I probably do look up to her in a way. But that does not mean that I’m gonna have sex and do drugs just because I listen to her music and like her. Some adults are just to paranoid, relax! I remember stealing Britney’s cd’s from my big sister when I was like 8 and I thought she was so pretty. It’s the best shes looked in a long time, I’m so glad to see her hair looking normal!!!, I think she picked a nice conservative dress for dealing with children, but the arms did keep slipping n showing her bra strap, but she still looks great! Im sure some of the kids probably know who she is, i mean after all, sh -is- britney spears, but maybe not she was -in- and -big- when i was growing up. I wonder why she was there though..hrm.

Laura–Britney making a cultural impact? Ok that is ridiculous. She has made a pop culture impact if anything, more based on her outlandish events..NOT her music. Sure, she’s had some huge hit songs but she is more known for her mental health issues now than those songs. Madonna was able to get publicity for being sexual, but she had amazing songs. Madonna does not have a wonderful voice, but she has an excellent pop singing voice. Madonna has always said she knows her voice is not legendary. I don’t picture Brit Brit having a career in her 30s and after that. I could be very wrong, but I have a right to my opinion, right?

Wow, she looks great! Though I’ve stopped being a true fan for years, it did make me very sad to see her going through many problems since last year, but it’s great to finally see her back on track. Things seem to be going very well for her so far :D. I think the dress is very nice too.
