High School Musical 3: Senior Year was the #1 movie at the box office last weekend, pulling in about $42 million bucks. BUT … it looks like the movie could’ve made a whole lot more if a particular scene was left IN the film. An industrious person is was selling insider production photos from the set of High School Musical 3 in various collections on eBay and offered to throw in a bonus photo from a shower scene featuring a wet and nekkid Zac Efron that was CUT FROM THE FILM:

I would have NO IDEA why a scene like this would be cut from the film but at least we can get a feel for what was left out by the few pics that were put up for auction. After the jump, check ‘em out …

Beyoncé and her mama Tina Knowles were on hand this week in NYC to do an in-store appearance at Bloomingdale’s department store for the official launch of a new collection of House of Dereon fashions inspired by B’s new movie Cadillac Records (a biopic of sorts where Beyoncé portrays jazz/soul singer Etta James). Here are a few pics of B and T at this week’s in-store appearance:

I don’t actually know of anyone who has ever purchased and/or worn an article of clothing from House of Dereon (Beyoncé’s “high end” fashion line) but it must be doing well if they are able to produce specialized collections like this. I’m always dubiously wary of celebrity branded clothing lines (because, really, if you’re going to spend money on expensive clothes, why not spend that money on actual designer labels?) but I can understand how some folks might want to shell out clothes “designed” by their fave stars. I believe Jennifer Lopez’s fashion line sells well … as does P. Diddy’s Sean John line. In any event, the House of Dereon: Cadillac Records Collection is coming your way so interested parties should be on the look-out.

She sure looks a lot like regular ol’ Beyoncé in most of these pics … only the ferosh pic in the middle looks anything like Sasha Fierce. You gotta admit … Beyoncé is everywhere these days. The girl knows how to work. Is anyone else buying any of this?

Some good news of sorts for John McCain and his supporters … while Senator Barack Obama managed to attain the endorsement of retired General and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, it is now being reported that John McCain has attained the endorsement of a higher power (being?). According to the venerated news publication Weekly World News, McCain has won the endorsement of an Alien from outer space. And while that news alone is well and good, I think the revelation of just how McCain won this endorsement is far more interesting:

In a shocking reversal with major implications for the U.S. presidential election, political kingmaker, the Alien has switched his endorsement from Barack Obama to John McCain amid furor. Both political camps are buzzing about the implications, as the Alien has correctly predicted the winning president in every election for the past 28 years. Ongoing investigation points to Cindy McCain as being the cause for this historic shift in allegiances. Uncovered photos suggest that in a last ditch effort to help her husband’s failing campaign, Cindy McCain seduced and then blackmailed the Alien for his endorsement. At a recent McCain rally, inside sources say Cindy McCain disappeared with the Alien after sharing several champagnes with the notorious intergalactic lightweight. Ms. McCain’s alien-like good looks and natural blood temperature of 54 degrees Fahrenheit may have proved too much for him to resist as she reportedly put her cyborg husband into sleep mode and worked her charms. This is not the first time the Alien, who sources say is no prude, has been in political “hot water.” During the 2004 election he was photographed in a hot tub with Laura Bush and Teresa Heinz Kerry. As the Alien is now married with children the release of these photos could be devastating for him. What impact this news will have on the election has yet to be determined. Swing state voters, who will decide this election, have the highest rate of alien abductions and UFO sightings and are known to vote in accordance with supernatural forces.

Scandalous! It remains to be seen if this endorsement will actually help McCain get elected but this late in the Presidential race … I guess you gotta exploit every advantage. On the plus side for Barack Obama, he has won the endorsement of the famed Bat Boy so … I guess at this point, it’s still anyone’s game.

The ladies on The View are giving us a sneak preview of tomorrow’s Halloween episode where they each dress up as one of our late former Presidents. Now, I’m not a huge fan of The View in general but I gotta say that I’m quite impressed with their Halloween ingenuity this year. Here is a group shot of Whoopi Goldberg as Franklin D. Roosevelt, Joy Behar as Theodore Roosevelt, Sherri Shepard as Abraham Lincoln (on the $0.01 coin), Elisabeth Hasselbeck as Ronald Reagan and Barbara Walters as George Washington:

While they all look pretty awesome as these Presidents, I have to say that the winner overall has to be Sherri Shepard’s Lincoln penny costume. Brills! Props also go out to Barbara Walters for being the only Viewstress to not only dress up as one of our most beloved Presidents but also one of her classmates as well. Hahahaha … I love these costumes … very cool and very timely. Well done, ladies!

Halloween isn’t until tomorrow (Happy Devils’ Night Day, BTW) but it looks like Michael Jackson’s kids Prince Michael, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II have already begun their Halloween celebrations. Jacko took his kiddies out on the streets of Hollywood, CA last night to do some early trick-or-treating … unfortch, no one was available to hand out any candy — so they just looked freaky for nothing. I know it’s de rigueur for the Jackson clan to venture out in public wearing interesting masks to cover their faces but the kiddies have been allowed to actually show their faces in recent months so it’s a bit odd to see them all covered up again. It don’t even matter that we’re so close to Halloween … anything these poor kids do in association with their father is strange. It’s so sad how creepy they all seem. I really do feel sorry for these kids.

Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench and more came out for the world premiere of the latest 007 film Quantum of Solace in London, England last night. Held at the Odeon Leicester Square, this “Royal World Premiere” was attended, not only by a who’s who of British celebs but also by the young Princes of Wales William and Harry. Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals last night:

The new James Bond Daniel Craig was lookin’ quite dapper in his swanky tuxedo, even if that arm sling kinda clashed with the look a bit. It turns out that Craig essentially dislocated his shoulder while working on Quantum and had to undergo shoulder surgery to correct the problem. No word on how long he’ll have to wear the sling but hopefully it won’t be for much longer. The ladies at last night’s premiere looked lovely, Jack White (of Detroit’s White Stripes) looked frightfully awful but I think it was a look he was going for. As for the princes?
