Heidi Klum made an in-store appearance at the Victoria’s Secret shop at The Grove here in LA Thursday for the launch of her new line of Very Sexy Make-up that is being sold for a limited time exclusively at VS stores (and online) around the country. Heidi donned a cute pair of fairy wings for the event … here are a few pics:

Anyone who knows anything about Heidi Klum knows that she is a big fan of Halloween so I’m not at all surprised that she wanted to play a little dress-up for this event. Now, I have no idea whether folks may be interested in procuring her line of make-up products merely because her name is attached to them but I am well aware that celebrity-branded fragrances tend to sell well so … why not? I’m not sure if wearing Very Sexy Make-up will make you look as hawt as Heidi Klum but for a reasonable price you can find out … if you dare.

Earlier this week we learned that David Beckham might be lookin’ to make a temporary move to Italy to play for the AC Milan soccer team there during the MLS soccer league off-season here in the US early next year … and yesterday, I bet Becks wished he were already in Milan. Homie got pulled over by the po po after he was caught doing a bit of speeding on the streets of LA yesterday afternoon. Here are a few pics:

I understand that Becks’s shiny black Porsche was clocked doin’ 60mph in a 35mph zone in West Hollywood when he got nabbed by the cops. It turns out that Becks did actually receive a warning from this officer rather than a speeding ticket. Something tells me that when his “Fútbol player” trick didn’t work he prolly whipped out his Armani Underwear ad for the officer and that’s how he got away without a traffic citation. After all, the p33n is mightier than the sword ;)

Britney Spears has been bizzy this week spending quality time with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, as she should, but that doesn’t mean that homegirl has been letting up on her work regimen. Her official website BritneySpears.com has been updated with new photos of Britters continuing work on a new dance routine for an upcoming live performance or music video that were taken, according to the site, Thursday:

Very tragic news to report today. Late yesterday it was reported that Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were killed in their Chicago, IL home over a reported domestic abuse incident. Darnell Donerson and Jason Hudson were, according to Chicago police, the victims of a fatal shooting. Additionally, Hudson’s 7-year old nephew Julian King has gone missing and Chicago police have issued an Amber Alert for the boy:

From the Amber Alert: Missing Person Circumstance Text : The Chicago Police Department have a confirmed child abduction that occurred at 7019 S Yale, Chicago, IL. Julian King is a male black, 7 years old, 4 feet 11 inches, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a brown polo shirt with stripes and khaki pants. Suspect vehicle is a white 1994 Chevrolet Suburban, Illinois registration, X584859. Anyone with information should call 9-1-1 and advise they have an Amber Alert report. This concludes this Amber Alert issued by the Illinois State Police.

From USA Today: Authorities investigating the shooting deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were searching for the missing 7-year-old nephew of the Oscar-winning actress. A suspect in the deaths was in custody Friday night, but young Julian King had not been seen since the bodies of Darnell Donerson, 57, and Jason Hudson, 29, were found Friday afternoon. A family member entering Donerson’s South Side home Friday afternoon found the woman shot on the living room floor. Officers later found Hudson shot in the bedroom, police said. At least one of the victims suffered defensive wounds, said authorities who described the shooting as domestic violence. William Balfour, a man suspected in the deaths, was arrested Friday but had not been charged, law enforcement sources told the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times.

I cannot even fully comprehend this sort of tragedy touching a person’s life. All I can say is that my thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer Hudson and her family and I hope that her nephew will be found and returned home soon. I’m sure you all will join me in sending our thoughts and condolences to her family. This is just really, very sad news.
