David Boreanaz, who famously played the vampire Angel on both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel and currently stars in the FOX series Bones, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of the beer enthusiast magazine Draft. Here is the mag’s coverphoto:

In the magazine’s coverstory, David reveals a love of “cold blondes”, gives his views on lowering the drinking age and talks about his love of football. Now, I didn’t even know that Draft magazine even existed before stumbling upon these pics of David Boreanaz but I can respect that beer fans might want to have a periodical of their very own. Earlier this week, we learned that Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen was recently hospitalized here in LA after coming down with a “life threatening” throat infection. I am happy to report that Taylor has already recovered enough to make her way back to NYC (where GG films) and has already been spotted out and about on the show’s set:

I am unhappy to report that Taylor appears unable to properly apply her make-up. Mebbe she was still feeling the strains of her illness or mebbe she was just trying to look like a clown? Perhaps she had a bad run-in with Heidi Klum’s Very Sexy Make-up?? I dunno. In any event, I’m glad to see that the lass is back up and around and looks to be on the mend.

Last night I made my way out to The Abbey for my friend Jean’s going away party extravaganza. I’ve known Jean (as in Jean-Luc Picard not as Jean Tripplehorn) for a couple of years now and I’m a bit sad that he is leaving the sunny shores of SoCal for the mean streets of NYC. Leaving his post at Lions Gate Films, Jean is moving up in the world and will be plotting world domination in the Big Apple. Darion, who is also friends with Jean, met up with me at The Abbey last night and we got down to partying with the Danielles (Jean’s beautiful Lions Gate cohorts) for most of the night. My boy Jordan, who has been out of the country FOR MONTHS, returned home to LA yesterday and came out with his friend Kiki to join the fun last night. Here are a few pics:

While LA is sure to miss Jean after he leaves this weekend, I know that NYC is going to treat him right. I look forward to seeing him in NYC on my next trip out East.

Incidentally, all of West Hollywood was wallpapered with promo materials for the Vote NO on Prop 8 campaign. Proponents of marriage equality were out in full force last night handing out flyers and trying to sure up support for their campaign to defeat the ballot proposition that Californians will vote on on November 4. I was inspired to donate money to their campaign to defeat proposition 8 and urge all Californians to join the fight for equality.

Later on this afternoon, I’m gonna make my way out to The Golden Apple comic book store for the Rest comic book release event that will feature an in-store appearance by Milo Ventimiglia. I hope to snap some fun pics for the blog.
