Mischa Barton was snapped with an 12 18 pack of Bud Light as she made her way out of a liquor store in Hollywood, CA last night … behold:

Yeah, I kinda pegged Miss Barton as a drinker but I never really considered that beer might be her booze of choice. I am having a hard time imagining Mischa Barton chugging on a can of beer but … well, here you have it. At least the girl is keepin’ it real by drinking the domestic stuff. While Pabst Blue Ribbon is my domestic beer of choice, I can’t really hate on the girl for reppin’ other good ol’ American-made beer.

In the wake of the miraculous survival of Travis Barker (and DJ AM) from a fiery plane crash that claimed the lives of four people, there was much discussion about ex-wife Shanna Moakler’s undying devotion to her injured ex-husband. There were reports that Shanna vowed to “not leave” Travis Barker’s side and that she was “totally devoted” to him. Travis, himself, has taken to his official My Space profile blog to refute those claims just days before Shanna was photographed putting the moves on actor Gerard Butler at Shin nightclub:

New couple alert? Shanna Moakler and Gerard Butler were photographed getting cozy at the Hollywood opening of Shin nightclub on Monday. Throughout the night, Butler also served guests drinks behind the bar. At one point, a patron told him, “Thanks,” and he said, “I have no idea what the fuck I’m doing.” Both did not talk to press.

But Travis Barker is talking, specifically about the fact that his ex-wife was not keeping vigil by his side while he recuperated from his injuries as has been widely reported:

Travis Barker may be in the hospital – but he’s got a bone to pick with his ex-wife. The Blink-182 drummer expressed his “deepest thanks” to fans via his MySpace page for their support during his recovery from a deadly plane crash in September. But the 32-year-old also took a brief time-out to jab at ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who reportedly has been by his side since the ordeal. “Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I’ve been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and an Georgia,” Barker wrote … Moakler was photographed in tears – and oddly wearing a ring on that special finger – outside Barker’s Augusta, Ga., hospital on Sept. 22 … Barker, who says he’s now able to move his fingers on his right hand, later deleted the diss from his MySpace Celebrity blog, but left the message up on his actual MySpace page.

You know, I’ve never been a big Shanna Moakler fan and this sorta seals the deal for me. There was never any expectation that Shanna should be faithfully by Travis’s side in the wake of his accident but I was impressed that she was there … at least, that was what we were led to believe. I recall seeing photos of Shanna flashing her ring and I thought, how nice that she is there and still seems devoted to him. Hearing from Travis himself that it was all a sham, most likely to make her look better, is pretty disgusting to me. Why in the world would she choose to exploit such a horrible tragedy just to make herself look good? Seeing these new photos of Shanna trying to mack on Gerard Butler really shows how her “devotion” to Travis seems to have waned … if it existed at all. I am very heartened to hear from Travis that he is doing better and is recovering well. I don’t think I need to hear anything from or about Shanna Moakler ever again.

Madonna brought out all the celebs in the vicinity of Manhattan Island to the premiere of her new film Filth & Wisdom which took place at the Landmark Sunshine Theater in New York, NY last night (it looks like Lindsay Lohan ditched the tore up leggings that she wore to the in-store launch of her 6126 leggings line earlier in the evening for this premiere event). You may recall that Maddy first screened her film back in February at the Berlin Film Festival but there has been nary a peep said about the film … until now. Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals at last night’s premiere of Filth & Wisdom:

When Filth & Wisdom was screened in Berlin earlier this year it was reported that the film would not be released in traditional movie theaters and would, instead, be released via “new media” (ie. online only). I’m not sure if that is still the plan but it might be the wiser course of action should Madonna want to avoid getting skewered by the traditional movie review press … or by the movie-going audience as a whole (the film has not been getting good reviews from the handful of folks who have seen it already). Why Madonna continues to make movies is beyond me … at least she doesn’t star in this one, that should be a plus, yes?

On the fashion tip, Madge gets points for her interesting footwear. I’m not a gun fan but her heels are kinda hot. Lindsay loses major points for going out in public with her un-spray-tanned feet. If you’re gonna fake your tan, Linds, you should make sure that you fake tan your whole entire body in order to avoid embarrassing moments like this one. Jessica Alba, Cash Warren and Marc Jacobs looked pretty standard and Chace Crawford looked pretty dressed up at last night’s event. I much prefer his boyish casual dress to this overly primped look. Oh, who am I kidding … the guy is a stunner no matter how he’s dressed. Soo … having heard all the buzz about Filth & Wisdom — any takers?

Despite her ability to do an almost uncanny impersonation of Sarah Palin, Tina Fey has vowed to stop portraying her on Saturday Night Live (or anywhere else, for that matter) if she and John McCain win the November election. If they do win, Tina jokes, she plans to leave … the planet:

Tina Fey told TVGuide she’ll be “done” if John McCain and Sarah Palin win the election next month. The “SNL” veteran who has come back to play the Republican Vice Presidential candidate (and whose own show, “30 Rock,” is still nowhere to be seen), said, “We’re gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I’m done. I can’t do that for four years. And by ‘I’m done,’ I mean I’m leaving Earth.” Fey also said it’s a busy but exciting time for “SNL.” “Election time is always good for [SNL] and this is a bonkers election,” she said. “And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she’s very likeable. She’s fun to play, and the two bits with Amy [Poehler], that was super fun,” Fey says.

Hee hee … I feel ya, Tina. Altho she claims that she will be “done” with the Palin potrayals if McCain wins the presidency that doesn’t necessarily mean that she would be “done” if Senator Barack Obama wins the presidency. I can envision Tina coming back to SNL at least one more time should Obama win the election to do a skit featuring Palin in the aftermath of her loss for the Vice Presidency. We’ve yet to see the Alaskan “First Dude” spoofed on SNL and this would be the perfect opportunity. That is a skit I’m very much looking forward to seeing. I must say, tho, that even if Tina Fey never portrays Sarah Palin again she deserves our most heartfelt thanks for the work she’s done already. Her lampooning of the VP nominee has been insanely funny already. She’s done her former SNL cohorts a huge service by helping them achieve new highs in ratings. Well done, Tina :) Your hard work is much appreciated and I salute you.

Lindsay Lohan was on hand for an in-store launch appearance at the Henri Bendel boutique in NYC last night for the launch of her line of leggings called 6126 (named after the birth date of Marilyn Monroe). Other celebrity luminaries were also on hand for last night’s leggings launch … including Dina Lohan and Ali Lohan … er, that’s it. Here are a few pics from the 6126 launch event last night:

L. Lo got herself a whole new messa hair for the launch event last night. It looks like she decided to wear two weaves just for the occasion. In any event, this leggings line is an endeavor near and dear to Lindsay’s heart. She arguably single-handedly is responsible for making leggings a very successful fashion trend in Hollywood (much to my chagrin) and never wavered from her intense championing of the look. Now that she is able to design and market her own line of leggings, I’m sure she will remain steadfast in her lurve for the trend. Whether or not ladies will choose to pay top dollar for Lindsay’s leggings is yet unknown (especially when they can just as easily pick up a pair of almost identical leggings at Target, Marshalls, TJ Max, etc.) but I suppose congrats are in order for Lindsay’s entrepreneurial spirit. Oh yeah and someone might want to let Linds know that the leggings that she’s wearing seem to have a little hole in them.

It looks like serious plans for Britney Spears’s long-awaited comeback are really, truly underway. Marc Malkin from E! News is reporting that Britney has signed a deal with a major concert tour producer to begin work on the “world tour” that she announced she would be embarking on next year. You may recall that Britney made the surprising announcement on NYC radio station Z100 late September that she would be hitting the road next year on a new tour … Malkin reports that the first big step in creating that tour has already been taken. She’s comin’, y’all … she’s really comin’:

Britney Spears is one step closer to going on tour. While the comeback pop princess revealed last month that she was planning on hitting the road next year, a source now tells me that things are getting serious. Spears just signed a deal with the mega huge live entertainment company AEG to produce the whole shebang, my source says. No word on when an official announcement will be made or when tickets will go on sale, but Spears revealed during an interview with New York radio station Z100 in late September that she’s hoping for a worldwide tour, not something limited just to the U.S. Reps for Spears did not return calls or emails.

I must admit, even tho I was very excited by Brit Brit’s radio announcement last month it did occur to me that she might’ve overspoken or exaggerated the state of her eventual concert tour comeback. She kinda just blurted out I’m going on tour next year so a tiny part of me didn’t really, totally believe it … not just yet. With this news, I’m really believing it. So much is going on with Britney right now — and it’s all positive, good news. I suspect that she will begin her portion of tour preparations (ie. choreography) fairly soon … especially if this deal with AEG has already been signed. We have no idea when her tour might kick off next year — it could be as late as Fall or as early as Summer — but at least we have something to look forward to. The world has been waiting for Britney to reclaim the concert stage … I’m happy to report that it shant be long now :)

UPDATE: Pink reader Marcus gives me the head’s up that Billboard magazine is reporting that Britney’s new tour is slated to begin NEXT SPRING!

Britney Spears will begin a tour next spring, produced by AEG Live, Billboard can exclusively reveal. Sources say the trek will likely hit arenas and be international in scope, as were recent AEG Live-produced outings by Bon Jovi and Justin Timberlake. Spears last toured in 2004, grossing more than $34 million, according to Billboard Boxscore. The artist will be out in support of her new album, “Circus,” due Dec. 2 via Jive. First single “Womanizer” is expected to leap into the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100 this week after first-week download sales are factored into the chart.

Holy shizz, y’all! I didn’t dare guess that Britney’s new tour might be ready by Spring … I figured it might begin next Summer at the earliest. The news just keeps getting better! Woot!!!
