Marc Jacobs & His Two Fave Accessories

His Hermès bag and his new hubby Lorenzo
Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Here are a few pics of Marc Jacobs enjoying an NYC stroll with his hunky husband Lorezno Martone this weekend in Manhattan. You may recall that Marc and Lorenzo reportedly got themselves hitched in Paris, France back in July (tho the legalities of that marriage have yet to be absolutely confirmed). Ever the fashionista, Marc Jacobs was spotted rockin’ one of his fave man skirts paired with a very hefty looking Hermès manbag … not to mention his hunky husband Lorenzo:

Married or not, Marc and Lorenzo make a pretty hot couple. Actually, Lorenzo has enough hotness all on his own for the both of them but, that’s beside the point. We all know that Marc has a fondness for pretty accessories (like his massive Hermès bag) but even the hottest accessories go out of style eventually. It remains to be seen if Lorenzo will still be in vogue with Marc by the time the new season of hot trophy boyfriends/husbands come out but I wouldn’t be surprised if Marc ended up hanging on to this one for quite some time.

There’s Something About ‘Married’

The TV Guide
Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Yesterday afternoon I met up with my friend Tony for a late lunch at the Cheesecake Factory in Sherman Oaks, CA. I haven’t been able to hang out with Tony since my return from my latest travels so we decided to head out and grab some food. I got to meet Pink reader Erin at the Factory and Tony and I generally had a fun time. Later on in the day, I met up with Josh, Michael and his new boyfriend Zack at the ArcLight Theater in Hollywood to see the new Anne Hathaway movie Rachel Getting Married:

I had read really good things about the film so I was glad that Josh suggested that we see it. Right off the bat I feel I should convey that the movie isn’t really geared towards a mainstream audience. The shaky camera work was pretty on par with the shakiness in Cloverfield (honestly) and was meant to get in close to the actors to create a sense of realness (that you are part of the action). It took a long time for me to really get into the story but if you hang in there long enough, you really get taken in by the story. There were so many aspects of the movie that I felt were really odd but only because they weren’t polished scenes that one normally sees in films. Director Jonathan Demme is really going for bare realism, focusing on family dysfunction in a very stark, warts and all manner. I’m not sure how to explain it … but you know those embarrassing moments that you may experience at family functions? Rachel Getting Married tries to focus on those moments and use them to tell a larger tale. Anne Hathaway is really good in this film. I’ve heard there may be Oscar buzz for this film … I’m not sure I’d go quite that far but Anne does give a really remarkable performance. This movie isn’t for everyone … in fact, I saw a few people walk out of the theater midway … but it really is a great film if you stick with it and see it thru. My friends and I really enjoyed the film and are really glad we went out to see it.

This evening there is talk of getting together with some peeps … not sure exactly what the plan is but I’m sure it’ll be fun. It’s gotten colder here in SoCal … Fall has finally arrived.

Hot Dude Of The Week: Kyle

Weekend Hotness
Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Wee! It’s time, once again, to feast our eyes on the Hot Dude of the Week. With all the hotness that we’ve been enjoying from the likes of George Clooney, Hugh Jackman and that guy in the Womanizer music video, I thought it would be difficult to find a guy to measure up … but I think I found him. Say hello to Kyle:

Woot! Fresh-faced and pretty proportionally perfect, I think Kyle is a fine candidate for Hot Dude of the Week. I … uh … am suddenly at a loss for words … so why don’t we just sit back and enjoy the view. Yummo!

Diesel Celebrates xXx Years In The Biz

It's a circus, y'all
Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Diesel celebrated its 30th anniversary this weekend by hosting the Diesel xXx Rock & Roll Circus event on Pier 3 in Brooklyn, NY last night. The coolest kids in NYC this weekend made their way off the island and ventured into Brooklyn for the festivities … here are a few pics from the red carpet:

Since 1978, Diesel has been producing (in my opinion) the most consistently cool fashions around. Year after year, season after season, Diesel has been designing and producing the hippest fashions, the coolest accessories and the best jeans around. While other fashion houses may have more caché, I find that Diesel manages to put out very cutting-edge fashions that are relatively inexpensive (at least, compared to the higher-priced fashion houses). I’ve been a Diesel fan for years and rarely ever go anywhere without wearing at least one piece from Diesel. But, I digress … last night’s Rock & Roll Circus soiree in NY was a balls-out shindig that really did bring out all the coolest kids in town. The concert was broadcast live online and performers included Chaka Kahn, Franz Ferdinand, T.I., Pharrell, Hot Chip and the always amazing M.I.A. — who also inadvertantly made an announcement while she performed on stage. She is pregs, y’all! After the jump, check out a few pics of M.I.A.’s very prominent baby bump …

It’s Pumpkin Pickin’ Time In Hollywood

Good Grief
Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Yesterday was a very popular day at the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch here in the Los Angeles, CA area as celebs of varying degrees of stature came out to pick up pumpkins with and for their children. Here are a few pics of some of the celebs that made their way out to the pumpkin patch yesterday to do some picking:

The celebs are getting a late start at the pumpkin patch this year. Last Halloween Lindsay Lohan started her pumpkin picking much earlier in the month of October than the celebs this year. Even still, yesterday seemed to be THE day that folks like Tobey Maguire, Marcia Cross, Tori Spelling and Nicole Sullivan decided to snatch up their Halloween pumpkins. See, celebs are just like you and me. Sure, they may have the help do all the messy pumpkin carving for them but they are the ones to do the actual manual labor of picking out the perfect pumpkins for their children. Amazing, isn’t it?

George Clooney Can’t Stop Being Hawt

Well ... on second thought
Sunday, October 12th, 2008

Earlier this week we saw a couple pics of a sexy ’stached George Clooney lounging poolside in Puerto Rico where he is preparing for his next role in the film Men Who Stare At Goats. Those pics were so much fun to look at that I had to see if there were any more … and here they are:

Woo … again, I must reiterate my new-found respect for George’s distinguished good-looks. I mean. Yeah. But, while Georgie looks hawt au natural the story changes a bit when he is in costume for his new movie role … er … the hotness kinda gets replaced with creepiness. After the jump, see what I mean …
