at least one good thing Obama suggested was to bring back the troops from Iraq, which will stop the economy from declining. Dont forget the fact that with the troops staying there, they spend about 10billion a month.

As much as you not liking Obama does not mean it’s right to insult people for their choices. Face this maturely instead of telling everyone that they are stupid. Time will only tell if they are efficient or not. At least time has shown that Bush isn’t capable of leading the country.
if one cannot speak with confidence and assurance of what he can give to the country like Obama, what about Palin, who’s unable to deliver the message correctly, forming sentences that doesn’t even sound like sentences?

You Obama supporters are stupid. Actually, all democrates in general are stupid. You would rather have a president with zero experience than a vice president with much experience because she screwed up an interview. Why do all the Biden and Obama mistakes get such little attention. There are several but you have to really search to find out about them because the media continues to protect him. You dumb Obama supporters are too busy making fun of Palin that you don’t see your candidate for who he really is. First it was Hillary and now it’s Palin. Just because someone can give a good speech doesn’t mean they know how to make decision, deomonstrate good judement or for gods sake run a country. Obama is liar. When he’s called out on his lies he won’t respond. He says he won’t respond. He doesnt think he has to back up his statements. It should be his job as a candidate to respond yet the media lets him off the hook over and over again. It is a fact that he has told several lies. And you people want to elect another liar with no experience as the president. Just because he speaks well. He doesn’t even answer direct questions. He speaks around the questions, doesnt provide answers yet everyone loves it. It’s ridiculous.

By definition a teleprompter is what people on tv read off of – that’s what they’re for. The argument is not whether someone reads off a teleprompter – all politicians do that – the discussion should be about whether the person knows enough about the issues, a real honest- to God-I-understand-the-pros-and- cons-and-how-this-will-effect-people-and-I-care understanding. And you know what? I’d be happy to leave Sarah Palin alone IF she was not running for the second most important position in the country! Nobody made her do that, she chose it and in so doing, explicitly accepts extra scrutiny. That’s the American public’s job – we need to make sure that the people we put in power are deserving of our trust, and the only way we can do that is to understand exactly where each candidate stands on the issues that are important to us. Each person has the right to make their own decisions when voting? You are damn right they do. And by accepting that right to vote, we guarantee that we will d our part to become informed even if it means WORKING to find out where the candidates really stand. It’s a privilege to vote in this country, and it needs to mean something. It’s too important. And as far as working hard for their money, I am a small business owner, and I live less than two miles away from the White House, so if anyone’s at ground zero and needs to be worried about terrorists attacking our country, it’s me (and the President).

didnt obama get caught reading off of a teleprompter? i mean, its not really fair that she is getting so much slack for this. i for some reason always hear liberals complaining about this and that..leave the poor woman alone. people have the right to make their own decisions and this includes voting…i wish the media would stop trying to convince people that choosing one person over the other would be best for them. celebrities do not know what it is to work hard for their money…

Why would trust John McCain to run this country when his first judgement call in choosing someone to put in a position of power is Sarah Palin! If he is the only one you trust to run this country and that’s his choice to be his vice president what does that say about you? Anyways… f-ing hillarious as usual. I will really miss Tina’s performance as Sarah Palin but will be glad to miss it after November. And Chivonne, why does a candidate have to constantly wear an American flag to be patriotic. I see him doing that and think he’s just playing into people like you who see that and instantly like him.

Seriously? I know they aren’t the same thing. I just feel that when it comes down to it if there was another attack McCain would be much more up to dropping a bomb then skirting around the issue and trying to talk it out with them as ‘friends’.

And yes I do like some of what Obama says. I just think McCain has more experience and since there will be another terrorist attack I trust him more.

And him wearing the flag is the first time EVER I’ve seen him do it.

It seems to me that what Obama does have is a desire to help Everyman; a desire to fund alternate forms of energy which will not only move us away from oil-dependency and curb our tendencies to destroy the world we live on, but create thousands of new jobs, and place the US back at the forefront of Thought Leadership in the world. What Obama has is a desire to fund healthcare, so that people don’t have to leverage their lives on credit cards (creating more bad debt) to finance the health of their children and families. What Obama has are compassion, intelligence, ideas and plans, and THOSE are the best qualifications I can think of for a President. Obama chose a running mate who has years of experience as the ranking member of the Foreign Relations committee. To me, that shows someone who is seeking to put the best people in the best places. On the other hand, what I’ve seen from John McCain is not impressive: selecting a running mate who can barely form a sentence and is obviously not prepared to be one heartbeat away from the presidency, his behavior in the debate was extremely condescending and dripping with sarcasm while short on substance, and both his VP choice and the “suspension” of his campaign show me that he has bad judgment and overreacts wildly in the face of any obstacle or big decision – which is a basic description of being the President of the United States. I have even voted for McCain in the past, but this November, my vote is going to Obama.

this sketch was absolute gold. the sad thing is that they really didn’t change much from the original interview.

i’d also have to respectfully disagree — the vice presidency is not a ‘training wheels position.’ as much as mccain can say that he’s in excellent health and feeling great, that still doesn’t change that he did survive cancer and will be the oldest candidate to ever become president without having served the term before. if he becomes president and if, goodness forbid, anything happens to him healthwise, then palin becomes our president which is an absolutely frightening prospect.

SNL is sooooo boring! Tina Fey is so amazing she completely makes it worth it. She should be on every week. I’d watch if she was.

I don’t like Obama. I think he’s scary. How come he still likes the Muslims and won’t wear anything American. Like the flag……………….. No matter what Palin and McCain say you won’t like it because you don’t like them. Obviously but whatever. at this point we have no hope no matter who is in charge.

I didn’t think this was as superb as the first Palin-Hilary sketch, but Fey’s answers mirrored Palin’s exactly. My dad saw the real Couric-Palin clip, and he said it reminded him of the nonsensical answer that Miss Louisiana or wherever she was gave at Miss America paegant last year. (about world maps, Iraq, China…????)
Unless they can get Tina Fey to keep coming back as Sarah Palin, SNL has shot itself in the foot because NO ONE can top her impression.
Good Lord, I will be deeply scared for the fate of this country if McCain-Palin get elected.
