‘The Hills’: In The Dumps
ATTENTION: 'THE HILLS' SPOILER ALERT WARNING

Welp … it looks like Lauren LC Conrad‘s curse with the mens continues as another one of her romantic interests got thrown to the curb in last night’s new ep of The Hills:

Last night’s ep was partially about LC breaking off her very brief romance with new castmember Doug Reinhardt but it was also partially about laying some groundwork for Whitney Port‘s new spin-off TV series which is to be set in NYC when it eventually debuts … oh yeah, there was also some partial hawt half-nudity in last night’s ep, which was a nice addition cuz, honestly, it was the only thing that kept me awake long enough to watch the entire show. After the jump, find out out all the deets (and take another look at the insanely hawt male model that flashed on the screen for about 10 secs.) from last night’s ep titled Better Off As Friends

I hate to admit it but last night’s ep of The Hills was a total snoozefest … if it hadn’t been for that brief flash of mancandy partway thru the ep, I don’t know that I would’ve been able to stay conscious long enough to even care to finish the ep. Usually when someone gets dumped on national television, you’d think there’d be something of interest to check out … when you’re dumping someone as boring as Doug Reinhardt, tho, it turns out there ain’t really anything of substance to care about:

So yeah … Doug‘s time as LC‘s boyfriend is over and done with already. I mean, the guy is handsome but about as interesting as a potted plant. He never really did get the hang of that “natural” banter that castmembers of The Hills need to make the whole thing work … that said, tho, he’s deffo not going anywhere on the show. We know from previews that he goes on at least one date with Stephanie She-Spencer Pratt and then enters into a pretty serious Bromance with Brody Jenner. There will be Doug. Whitney‘s storyline seemed to lay some pretty serious groundwork for her new spin-off show … I think we’re supposed to be all excited about her movie to New York City. I dunno … I feel like diluting The Hills in this way will weaken the brand. Last night’s ep wasn’t all that interesting, to be quite honest. LC spent her time complaining about Doug and then she dumped him in the most boring way ever. Whitney spent her time chatting up a guy who really didn’t seem all that interesting and wasn’t even the hottest male model we saw on the show (that title goes to Mr. Abs who looked so smokin’ hot that I had to rewind and watch his tiny portion on the show a few times before I could go on). It really felt like the producers just interjected the Heidi and Spencer bits just to remind us that they’re on the show. I don’t know that it was all that necessary to watch Spencer glance at his Rolly bling to let us know it was “cuddle time” for him and Heidi. Mebbe I was tired, mebbe I wasn’t in the mood but I didn’t really care for last night’s ep. We do know that a special new ep of The Hills will air ahead of the 2008 MTV VMAs this Sunday night and it promises to be filled with all the fun stuff that makes the show interesting … drama, Las Vegas, Brody in jail! Bring it on, I say! I just wasn’t feeling it last night … did any of y’all?
