‘The Hills’: Go Buy The White Tie Affair Album
I’m very sad to say that last night’s ep of The Hills was a major snoozefest. Except for being heavily bombarded with the message that the new Epic Records band White Tie Affair is “hip and cool”, I really didn’t glean anything of substance from last night’s ep:
Even still … I must soldier on and do my duty to recap last night’s “action” as best I can. After the jump, find out what went down on last night’s ep of The Hills titled You Always Miss A Best Friend …
People … WTF?! Absolutely nothing happened last night … I was bored, literally to tears (I kept yawning so much I had to wipe the tears from eyes every 15 seconds). The only things we got were a few facial expressions from Whitney, a lunch between Lauren LC Conrad and Holly Montag, an upset Audrina who was let down by Justin Bobby and the force-feeding of the band White Tie Affair:
Total snoozeville. David doesn’t like watching The Hills but I made him watch it with me last night … and was very sorry for it afterward. Last night’s ep did not instill in him the belief that the show is worth watching. I mean, I get that not every ep can be a winner but … I was totally bored by last night’s ep. Pink reader Lisa caught that the MTV subtitler for last night’s ep egregiously misspelled the word “secretly” when Stephanie confessed to secretly piercing her tongue — that was pretty much it for the excitement, I’m afraid. Pink reader Mike sent in a pic of LC, Audrina, Lo and Stephanie dancing on stage with White Tie Affair during their showcase concert at the Roosevelt Hotel, which I think is pretty cool …
… then again, the scene of the girls on stage was not included in last night’s ep. Boo.
I’m gonna just consider this ep a throwaway episode and move on … next week’s ep looks VERY VERY good … LC goes away and all hell breaks loose behind her back while she’s gone. Wee! I’m sure all the drama next week will make up for the lack thereof in last night’s ep. Did any of y’all like last night’s ep?

i agree, not an exciting episode at all. i cant wait for next week. its one the episodes i’ve been waiting for this season, hopefully it wont let me down.

My favorite part was at the end of LC and Holly’s lunch when Holly’s like “Yeah! I’m so glad I have your number now and we can hang out!”. Like, a producer gave her the number to get into the show in the first place (nice photo cap Trent “Thanks for coming on the show” … totally true). Hilarious.

It was sooooo boring last night. The Hills is losing my interest, fast. I’m o-v-e-r it. I hope that next week will bring back something worth watching, because the preview did look pretty juicy, so we’ll see! But I agree with Elle, you should probably start re-capping Gossip Girl, I’ve never been disappointed with that show- it’s always fabulous!

There was no storyline. Nothing Happened. Def Snoozfest. This show needs to end. LC’s 15 minutes of fame need to be over. She is a nobody. We still watch anyways. Sick sick society. We watch her so she gets paid millions to be herself and now has a book deal. Her life is not that exciting, MTV puts her in these positions. Stop watching.

i was so happy that i actually knew the NEW band before the hills brought them on, and i am a big fan haha
but i think the ep was a set up for like a finale episode with lauren and heidi..

At least LC is doing something with her celebrity- such as designing clothes, like she’s always wanted to. What about that waste of space Heidi and her “music” career? Now THAT is someone who needs to get over herself.

I agree with you 100% on this ep. Total snoozefest! The only thing that kept me awake was the commercial breaks it takes what seems like every 3-4 minutes. I really think we only get about 18 minutes of the actual show. Anyway, I think I’m catching on to MTV’s trend: they give us a really good episode (like last week) and then a shitty one (like this one) to be followed by another exciting one (like next week). It really is getting hard to watch though. I hope this is the last season. But if it’s not, I’m sure I’ll stay tuned anyway. ~sigh~
