Last night, right before the 2008 MTV VMAs aired live on MTV, we were treated to a “bonus” episode of The Hills to help feed our addiction for the very popular show (and possibly to help lure viewers to the network to tune into the VMAs afterward). There was quite a bit of crying in last night’s ep …

As far as eps go, last night’s wasn’t as juicy as I had hoped … but considering it was a “bonus” ep, I’ll happily take what I can get:
First off … Doug‘s jet is pretty damn pimpin’. I mean … wow. I was impressed with his home in the Hollywood Hills that we got to see in last week’s ep (the site where LC dumped him, sadly) but the jet is just … wow. What was LC thinking by dumping him? Hahahahaha. Okay, so I love me some Brody Jenner, he is deffo my boy, but didn’t it seem like he was hellbent on making sure to get Stephanie to cry? The toast on the jet was a bit much but putting her on blast at dinner was kinda harsh. Granted, she asked for it by challenging him at the dinner table in front of all of their friends but still … ouch! The Heidi and Spencer bits were freakin’ awesome as usual. I love how much Spencer spends just chillin’ at the apartment … no wonder he has a problem with Holly moving in. Hello, her constant hanging around is sure to have an adverse effect on his high score, duhvs. You gotta love that not 2 minutes after Holly arrives from a 14-hour drive that Speidi gotta bounce so they can make their dinner reservations — welcome to LA, Holly! The Audrina drama felt just squeezed into the storyline … at this point, there is so much in-fighting going on all over the place that there isn’t even time enough to fit it all into a single episode. Clearly, Audrina and LC are gonna have to hash out their probs … I predict there will be lots more crying to come. AND HOW ABOUT THAT CLIFFHANGER … Brody in jail? I can’t wait to find out what the hell went down when tonight’s regularly scheduled ep of The Hills airs later on. So … did y’all like this ep? Did I miss anything of import?

loved the ep. it reminded me of the drama packed past season of the hills that this season was lacking. this is the episode we’ve needed.
My favorite line of the night came from Frankie “I’m tired. I couldn’t sleep cause I got a text message from Brody at 9am. Brody’s in jail” Soooo….you couldn’t sleep cause you got a text at 9am???? What praytell happened to the hours in between??? What might you have been doing, hmmmm???

My favorite moment was when Heidi was in the car talking to Spencer and as she was leaving, she told him that he needed to get out of the house! haha! I love Heidi! Spencer needs to earn his keep! Sheesh!
Lauren looked so pretty at the VMAs!! And I’m pretty sure the show would be great without Heidi and Spencer. I can’t stand them!
I just want to point out that Spencer’s all pissed about Holly moving in, yet he had no problem intruding on Stephanie’s life when he and Heidi were on the outs. I’m with CoCo…happy that Heidi told him to get off his ass and see the outside world.
um seriously … how can brody text frankie if he’s in jail??? they take away all your stuff (including your shoe laces) and you’re pretty much left with 1 phone call after they process you…. ?!?

Why are these people famous? There’s more drama than this in my town, and yet, we’re not famous.
Brody is being such a jerk. I know he and Stephanie have history and all, and he’s trying to be loyal to Lauren, but he’s acting like a real jerk. He’s really not any better than Spencer. I felt really bad for Stephanie, she’s sitting there drinking her Sprite or water or whatever, obviously she’s worked hard on her sobriety and gone through a lot, and Brody wants to hold a grudge. I loved what Doug said to him though!
Does anyone else think Heidi is getting fed up with Spencer? He does nothing all day. I’m so glad she put him in his place ” you did not get me out of work bc of TiVo”

so i’m assuming spencer just uses his 65 grand from each show to pay for this condo? oh wait…… i forgot he’s heidis manager or producer or something. What a lazy piece of sh*t. i’m really hoping that she leaves the douche and her and lauren become friends again. i love lauren but you have to admit, it seems like she doesn’t like when her friends get bfs. watch out lo, you could be next… do not get a boyfriend anytime soon. ps i wonder if lo is mad that she isn’t on the begining credits of the hills.

Did anyone else notice that spencer was working on getting his high score up on a game where you were supposed to be aiming and shooting, but he was just putting the gun right up to the screen? I don’t think that’s how you’re supposed to play . . . he is such a douche. I wouldn’t let him sleep on the floor of my bathroom.
