Proof That Gavin Rossdale Has Fans Of His Solo Music
Here are a few pics from a recent live performance that Gavin Rossdale gave in SoCal at the Roots and Shoots Day of Peace Festival this past Sunday … as you can tell from these cute pics, Gavin had at least 2 fans in the audience who were there to see his live act:
Okay, I can’t be 100% certain that wifey Gwen Stefani and eldest son Kingston James were in the hiz to watch Gavin perform … but I’m gonna venture a guess that they were. It should be noted that Gwen and Gavin’s newborn son Zuma Nesta Rock was NOT in attendance to support his dad’s live performance … which only goes to show that he is a bad son. Bad son! I am SO ready to get my first glimpse that little Zuma … bring it on, Gwen … we’ve waited long enough!

Gavin’s 2 small kids are lucky that he’s a great daddy to them. But he’s a terrible dad to his eldest child – the pretty model Daisy Lowe. After the DNA tests proved she was his – he simply stopped speaking to her because wifey Gwen didn’t like the idea that he has a child with another woman! What a coward this man is. It makes me so sad.

Yeah I heard about his supermodel daughter, Daisy. She’s hot in a unique kind of way. I used to be a huge fan of his former band, Bush. And now that Gavin went solo I started listening to his music and actually enjoyed it. But when I heard about this whole issue with his daughter he became revolting to me as a musician and human being. I’m a dad myself and would never disown my children for some some woman!

Despite everything she has going for herself, I heard that Gwen Stefani is a very JEALOUS AND INSECURE WOMAN when it comes to her husband. This goes to show that not even fame and success can buy you self-esteem, kindess, wisdom and maturity – which is what Gwen seriously lacks as a stepmom. Perhaps she should focus more on her dysfunctional family life (which she has created) and a little bit less on her tacky ugly clothing line.

I work in showbiz and the Hollywood gossip here is that Gwen Stefani gave Gavin an ultimatum – either he disowns his own daughter or she will leave him and take the kids (and the MONEY she earns) and he will only get visitation rights. He chose her because he relies on her money. Even though he has his own singing career, she makes about 20 times what he makes. Remember she also owns her own clothing line on top of being a singer. I guess he chose her money. Wow, talk about having your priorities all wrong.

Guys – Daisy was not a surpise that just landed on Gavin’s doorstep. The saddest and most disturbing part of all of this is that Gavin has been her godfather and present in her life since she was born!! Daisy Lowe is the result of a crazy night Gavin had with his (former) best friend Pearl Lowe back in the 80’s. Pearl is a famous fashion designer in England and her and Gavin go waaaay back. When pregnant, Pearl mistakenly assumed the child belonged to a man she had been dating right around the same time her and Gavin hooked up that one night. OOOPS. Well as Daisy grew she started to resemble Gavin a lot more than Mom’s ex-boyfriend. So Gavin agreed to a paternity test and ALL THE TROUBLE BEGAN after he found out he was actually the father!!

Woah this blog has really opened my eyes about one of my FORMER favorite singers. Here I though Gavin was like dad of the year with his two small kids and now I see he’s a terrible father! You cannot be a good dad to your two new kids and pretend your older one doesn’t exist. That’s a major sin. Sorry to get all Oprah, but you don’t know what it’s like to have a parent – wether a mom or a dad – reject you. I’ve been through exactly the same situation as Daisy Lowe and it makes me sick. I feel like an idiot for ever having supported this man as a solo artist.

I agree that Gwen is an extremely inmature and selfish woman. But it’s ultimately Gavin’s responsibility to step up and be a father to Daisy. It’s his kid – not Gwen’s. They are both at fault here but he’s even more at fault because he’s the dad. I am no longer a fan of either of them. What a bunch of idiots these 2 are. They deserve each other.

Can you imagine if your mom or dad said “Sorry you are NO LONGER my child because my partner doesn’t like you”. This is basically what Gavin did to his own child except that in his case he just simply ignored her. I personally know the Lowe family and he just stopped returning their calls and pretended that Daisy no longer exists. I can’t imagine how that poor girl must feel. What a disgusting bastard Gavin is.

This guy is a total looser. I found out about the Daisy Lowe scandal a few months back and I threw away every single cd I had of Gavin and of Bush. I have never had the misfortune of being in Daisy’s shoes but I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is for her. It makes me get all teary eyed. I can only hope that she has much success and love in her life and you know what? What comes around goes back around. Poor Gavin – life will definitely teach him some harsh lessons.

My father rejected me when I was just a small child. It was also because of money. He didn’t want to pay child support. He simply wanted his paycheck all to himself. So I can definitely relate to supermodel Daisy Lowe. But life has been really harsh on my “dear old dad”. Now that he wants to make ammends I pretend like I don’t even know who the man is. He thought he was so lucky to get out of his responsibilities. Now he’s sad and alone and pathetic. I agree completely that what goes around comes around. PEOPLE – regardless of your religion or your beliefs this is a fact. So treat others with respect and kindess.

To “shocked reader”: What all the gossip columns says is that everyone wanted the DNA tests so that there could be closure. So that Daisy could finally know who her real dad is because she looked NOTHING like the man they all thought was her dad. And it could only have been either that man or Gavin. This caused a lot of stress for Gavin and Gwen’s marriage because Gwen just wanted it to be them and they’re 2 kids – nobody else. She’s territorial and controlling. So when the DNA test proved Gavin was the daddy Gwen Stefani freaked out and that’s when she gave him the ultimatum to choose either her and the kids (and her money) OR his daughter Daisy. Gavin didn’t officially tell Daisy he was rejecting her but he just stopped speaking to her and pretended she wasn’t alive. Now she has no way of contacting him.

About two years ago my sister and I spotted Gwen and Gavin in Los Angeles. They had left a store and were walking down a sidewalk with the older baby in a carriage (the new one wasn’t born yet). It was one of those surreal moments when you realize very famous people are just a few feet away from you and you’re just kinda in shock. In just that brief moment you could see that she wears the pants. She was just giving him instructions about which store they were going to next and she sent him to the car to get something while she waited. I was too embarrased to walk up to her for a photograph but we did walk right behind her for a minute and then passed her on the sidewalk until we went into the store we were headed for.

Everyone needs to stop judging Gavin Rossdale. Look at your own lives. Look at the poor decisions you’ve made that the things you’d like to change in your life and about yourself. No one’s house is in good enough order to judge another person’s life. No one. With all due respect to Trent, no amount of reading these celebrity blogs or Variety or even being a “Hollywood insider” (PUH-LEASE!) give you enough knowledge about a person and their situation to sit there and pass judgment on other people.
Of course you can disapprove of his decision, but these people who say he’s a great father to his two kids by Gwen but is a horrible person who’s music you now cannot stand simply because of his decision of how to handle is relationship with his ADULT (ADULT!!!) daughter make me sick. You don’t know Gavin Rossdale the person from a ham sandwich, so stop acting like you’re good enough to judge him. I’m a father myself, before people start getting all high and mighty on me. A horrible person abandons his still-growing children. Lowe is an adult and is capable of understanding his decision, even if you people can’t. Disagreeing is your right… judging is not.

I don’t understand Nicodemus’ comment that says Daisy is an adult so it’s ok to disown her??? I’m a grown 34 year old man married with 2 kids and a dog. And if one day my dad or my mom were to just decide to disown me I would be traumatized, humiliated, depressed, angry, and CRUSHED. Now imagine being a 15 year old impressionable teenager. His daughter was 15 years old – THAT IS A CHILD – when he abandoned her. And even now she’s STILL YOUNG AND NEEDS HIM!!! She’s in her late teens/early twenties and is trying to make a career and life for herself here in the states. I’m sure she could use his support seeing as all of her family is in England and dear old dad also lives here in the states and he has experience in showbiz so he could guide her. But I’m sure he tries to forget that she lives here now. Out of sight of out mind, right? It’s sadly ironic that he was closer to his daughter BEFORE he found out he was her dad. He has been present in her life since she was born because he’s her godfather. And Gwen Stefani had no problem with that. But when the DNA test proved he was her real dad he was like “OKAY IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU HONEY, BUT I WOULD RATHER BE YOUR GODFATHER THAN YOUR REAL DAD. THIS ISN’T GOING TO WORK OUT FOR ME. He’s married to Gwen Stefani and has a solo album out – and baby No. 2 on the way – but none of that is going to Gavin Rossdale’s head.
“You have to relinquish all self-importance,” the British rocker, 42, tells PEOPLE of life as a dad. “It’s not a bad thing. You don’t have time to think about yourself. I used to wallow in introspection. I don’t have time to be that guy now.”
And it’s not likely he will have extra time soon. The father to Kingston, who recently turned 2, is kicking off a solo career with this month’s release of Wanderlust, and Rossdale’s wife of six years, Stefani, 38, is expecting the couple’s second child this summer.
Before becoming a dad, “I’d been around babies 12 minutes my entire life. I didn’t read any books. And we had friends of ours who were like, ‘You guys re crazy, you’ve got to read books.’”
But, says Rossdale, “It’s so natural you just fall into it and you find your way. It’s terrifying and exciting and brilliant.”
