Eagle Eye reminded me of a cross between 2001 Space Odyssey and The Net. I didn’t like it. The Net was way more effective at killing off people (like the pharmacy giving out an OD to Dennis Miller) than Eagle Eye was. Didn’t make any sense at all. But Shia is my BF so I forgive him :p

OK, so I saw the movie this weekend and I didn’t even notice how wack the plot was because I was too distracted by Shia’s juicy bottom lip the whole movie. I think I also made some false sexual tension between Rosario Dawson’s character and that army boy she was rolling with towards the end, but hell with it. The movie was way better in my perverted mind ;)

OMG THE TEETH. i agree on soooo many levels. plus his character was extremely annoying and not.. really necessary.
i liked it…thought it was good enough for a thriller – but as if you werent thinkin the whole time ‘oh yeah… that bitch is skynet’ i went with my bestie (shia obsessee) who has never seen any terminators – so i need some validation on my theories please :P

I can’t wait to see this movie. Shia is quite the movie star now. His movies always debut at number 1 and makes pretty good money. He is so damn hot!!!

I agree with your Eagle Eye review, it was fun and very entertaining but yeah stupid as hell. It’s weird how this director keeps basically remaking other films, as he is the same director of Disturbia and as you mentioned it’s just a rehash of Rear Window. This one copied many films I think, it was like Enemy of the State, with War Games, and a little bit of I Robot.
