Paris Hilton just debuted her new single/theme song My BFF on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM here in LA … which I present to all y’all for your aural pleasure:
The new track will serve as the theme song for Paris’s new MTV competitive reality TV show Paris Hilton’s My New BFF (which debuts on MTV tonight). You may recall that Paris revealed that her boyfriend and Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden is helping her out with her new music (and it is my guess that he most likely provided the lion’s share of help on the creation of this track) which is very evident by the way that is sounds. So, without further ado, check out Paris Hilton’s new single My BFF for yourselves:
The song deffo has a Good Charlotte feel to it … and Paris’s voice does sound a lot more mature. HMMM. What do y’all think?

She can’t honestly believe that a reality show is the way for her to get what that song says shes looking for. I can understand being a celebrity, it would be hard to find new REAL friends, but a tv show doesn’t sound like the way to go.

To be honest I do not think it is that bad. Give the girl a break. She is not out every night anymore and is trying to have some sort of a normal life in the spotlight of paps chasing her everywhere.

this is kind of like when hilary duff tried to sound ‘grown up’ a few years back, only worse. i hate that this sound is equated with good charlotte…if i were them, i’d take a long look in the mirror and truly question where i went wrong.

As soon as the song started, I thought for a second it was Hilary Duff. Good Charlotte is helping the girls out a lot by lending them their sound.
The song actually doesn’t sound too bad but that’s probably because of amazing production. I still think Paris Hilton is a joke and I wish Benji and Joel would stick to working on their own music…

omg I eff-ing LOVE it. I was a big fan of her CD despite what all my friends had to say about it. It was a fun and upbeat CD but I think it failed mostly because of WHO SHE IS rather then judging the CD by itself. …Just sayin’

I deffinantly think Benji helped with this, it sounds closer to something i’d listen to..good charlotte is my favorite band… but i still dont think she should add singing to her jobs..i mean unless she can sing a song achapella and it sound good then id be okay with it but i dont think she has a talent for singing..atleast she hasnt showed us a real natural telent for it like christina aguilera or someone like that, i mean SHE has talent, Paris is probably one of those girls getting lessons trying to learn to sing well. I am a fan of paris’ but singing wise..i just dont know.

What do I think?
First I didn’t recognize her voice in this song.
Then I think that only real singers should sing.
She tried to do many things but none has succeeded well.
When she will stop trying it will be good for everyone.

oh man. that was some CRAPPY music!!!!! And SO HORRIBLY REDUNDANT. It just REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SUCKED, REALLY freakin BAD.
Her voice wasn’t that bad, but the music, “melody”, and all the rest of it was just sickening.

I’ve been working in the music industry for several years, and let me say that there is no way to truly judge the quality of her voice from a well produced and mastered track. Record producers are able to take almost anything and, with a some time and a lot of money, make it sound completely marketable. That being said, I do believe that she is likely NOT that talented of a “musician”–if she can even call herself that. Throwing money at producers and song writers shouldn’t be enough to legitimately designate yourself as a musician and, for that matter, release “profitable” music that the mainstream will mindlessly indulge in. Sad.

Paris has isues. But she really is a sweet girl. Everyone reads the tabloids and all the crap and i must say WOW good for you girl. you are a really strong girl for sticking through all the rumors and drama. Singing isnt really your thing but your songs are cute. Goodluck in finding your new “BFF”
