MSN got their hands on secret new video footage of Britney Spears rehearsing with a team of dancers in a studio. The troop is working on a routine to a new song, at least, a song I’ve never heard before … check it out:

Could this be a routine that she may use to “open” the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday night? If not, what do y’all suppose this routine might be for? Because we don’t know when the vid was taped, the context isn’t at all clear. HMMMMM …

I hope she’s not preforming, as I don’t think she’s ready, unless she does a very short, sort of ‘teaser’ performance. That might be good.

Mm, okay, two things. 1. While she may be in pretty good shape (finally! good for her), she needs to realise NO ONE is wearing their pants down around their hoo-ha anymore. So very 5 years ago. and 2. That routine is a bit passe too. Seen it before I’m sure. It basically looks like any dance school hip hop routine.

You know it is a new video because she’s wearing the home made black and white necklace with the names of her boys on it. While we may not know when it was made, it is definitely current.

She looks great. And I am totally cheering her on for a comeback in a big way. But I gotta say that she looks like she’s half-assing it a little in this video compared to the dancers behind her. I hope she does a little better on the VMA’s. I really want her to. She’s come a long way and she deserves it after turning her life around.

i’m so happy to see her back on her feet! and yeah the choreography is a little tired, but usually when she performs on stage vs in the dance studio, she steps it up a little bit. this is excluding last year’s vma’s of course lol.
