I stumbled upon a new photo of Sex and the City‘s Chris Noth (who played Mr. Big) making a grand arrival in Hawaii this weekend with his son Orion Christopher (born this past January) strapped to his frontside and I was immediately reminded of that Sex and the City episode (To Market, To Market) where Carrie Bradshaw ran into her ex-boyfriend Aiden Shaw (played by John Corbett) and his new baby boy strapped to his frontside:
LOL! They both make a really cute picture of fatherhood, yes? And seriously, little Orion may be stuck with a name he will prolly grow up hating (trust me) but the kid is super adorable :) These pics are just too cute to not post.

He is cute but the name is so dumb! Sorry. Some of these parents who try to keep their kids individual with these strange names are really giving their kids a hard time growing up!!
Why does everyone ridicule celebrity’s kids names? How is Pilot different from Hunter or Apple from Olive? And as for Orion, that sounds perfectly fine to me. And these kids will never live in a world where their name will bring them any trouble.

What’s wrong with the name Orion? I grew up with a kid named Orion. Nobody every thought twice about it.
FYI: The baby that John Corbett is holding in the SATC episode is actually Sarah Jessica Parker’s son James Wilke. In the episode you can kind of see the baby recognize his mama!

That is NOT SJP’s son in that episode. I don’t know what commentaries you watched, but they’re wrong. It’s another SATC myth, along with SJP peeing on the stick and waiting for the result of the preg test with the whole cast outside waiting. Most of these myths come from the SATC tour, which has nothing to do with the show and gives out all sorts of wrong details.
Back to the topic at hand though, LOVE me some Mr Big.

I was gonna say I like the name Orion as well. I don’t know anyone named Orion, but I could see it being more common.
“Orion” is the “Frito-Lay” in Korea…. one of the oldest mainstream brand that has a bagillion snacks/sweets/junkfood in its line.
I saw the director’s commentary as well and he did say it was SJP’s son. I thought that was very cool. It was the opening for season 6 and she had just recently given birth to him. Debho, don’t come on the offensive.
Diana, I’m not being defensive at all. Only stating the truth. And that fact is wrong. Tater Tot was not James Wilke.
The baby bjorn only made Aidan hotter and it made me hate Carrie even more. Seriously, I could not watch another episiode besides the finale after she messed with Aidan and his heart.
