I think it was just a time when people were over Mariah and all her success and wanted to take her star down a peg. People also love to hate Madonna's acting skills ... but she did a dam fine job in Evita. Mariah can act (and she has real comedic talent). I am totally humbled by the decent comments left by Danity, jajaja & Nicole. People hear Mariah Carey & the haters come out in full force. I still do not see what was SO terrible about Glitter. There are many, many, many, many, many more movies that are way worse (anything with Madonna & J.Lo). In Wisegirls she was bloody brilliant as Rachel. I went to see the Zohan movie just because MC was in it & I don't understand why you're (Trent) hating on her cameo. It was a silly Adam Sandler movie where she had to play up her celebrity, she did fine. Anyway, haters DO NOT matter. You don't get to be the BEST selling female artist EVER, without people being jealous & envious. Bow down to the Queen!!!!! Wow!! MC is actually pretty damn good in that movie...not an Oscar performance by any means, but I think people are basing Mariah's acting abilities primarily on Glitter...unfortunately.
