Les Beckhams: Typical American Family
Here are a couple pics of a very normal-looking David and Victoria Beckham lounging by the pool at their Beverly Hills, CA home with some family members yesterday afternoon. The scene looks nice and relaxed, Becks (of course) looks hawt, Vicki B. looks totally unmade and I think she’s walking around with a Styrofoam plate of potato salad. This has to be the most down-to-earth image of the family I think we’ve seen in ages:
I’m not entirely sure which Beckham boy is on VB’s lap but I’m gonna guess Romeo since he tends to love sitting on his mother’s lap. I love these pics … they’re so … normal. No pretense, no outrageous fashion … just a good ol’ fashioned afternoon by the pool. Love it.

I agree with mi girl..I hate that they can’t just hang out and chill with their friends in the backyard..It totally goes over the line..BUT, I love the little glimpses into their “normal” activities..But it’s people like me who give the tabloids reasons to do these horrible things!

I like that they are so normal but I think it’s really intrusive and wrong to take pictures like this. I mean, seriously? Can they just enjoy their downtime? Celebrity or not, people shouldn’t be able to peek in on their every waking moment. It’s not like they were in public.

I agree with everyone that these photos are too invasive. I have no issues with photos taken out in public areas, but when they’re trying to relax in the confines of their own property, that’s too far. Shame, shame, Trent. I never thought you’d encourage these sorts of paparazzi intrusions.

Love celeb pics, but seriously! They’re in their own backyard. Nobody has the right to hover over and take pictures like this! When they are out and about, okay. But, where do we draw the line? This is just too invasive.

@K – Nobody asks for a helicopter hovering above the garden when you’re at home trying to relax. Even the famous Beckhams deserve some down time without this shit. Look at his face. I agree with Lisa, there needs to be some laws about this.

I’m usually a big proponent of “celebrities are asking for it,” but I agree this is a bit much. No wonder David looks so annoyed. But it is really nice to know they have some normal family time.

She looks nice, so approachable when she is just normal and not the whole Queen of the Robots look going on, shame she never wants to appear normal (and therefore infinitely more likeable) more of the time.
