I hope this doesn’t turn into a nightly circus, there are enough crazies in the Times Square area already. New York Magazine had a hilarious cartoon panel about Katie’s Broadway debut.

I was pretty shocked at how attractive Cruise was in person last night, and believe me, he was three feet away. He really doesn’t photograph as well as he looks in person. It was also surreal being able to see the back of his head during the whole performance. (He was literally in the seat four rows in front of me, and passed me a couple of times in the aisle)And if you think Tom Cruise is short, Dustin Hoffman was even shorter! He’s definitely getting older, but was still very distinguished looking.

Also, it’s true, you can’t help but spot the massive Scientology space right smack in the middle of Broadway. This was definitely the largest amount of protesters I’ve seen in the vicinity though. BUT, there was also a Scientology member handing out pamphets to the people in line for the show, against the group Anonymous, which was the group there in protest.

And Trent, trust me, even if you aren’t an Arthur Miller fan, you would love the show. It’s definitely better than Death of a Salesman, which we all had to suffer through in high school.
