Jessica Simpson has been making the rounds on all the early morning TV shows this week and yesterday she paid a visit to Good Morning America to perform a track off her new album. Altho Jess had to stop her performance on live TV because she couldn’t hear anything in her earpiece, she managed to get thru the rest of the song with her usual … gusto. Here are pics of Jess showing off her trademark fug faces as she performed on GMA yesterday morning:
Jessica Simpson tripped up a rocky performance on live television Tuesday, the day of her latest album release. “Hold on, I know this is live TV but I can’t hear anything,” she said as she starting singing her quadruple platinum hit “With You” on Good Morning America. The music stopped, the crowd in Times Square went silent and then she counted down for her musicians to start again. “You got it?” she asked. “There you go!”
You know, I cannot hate on the girl for giving her all in every live performance that she does … but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the ridiculous faces that she makes when she’s belting out her songs on stage. I’m sorry, it’s not a pretty picture. I did catch this particular performance, tho, and I think she sounded great. Country Music is a good fit for her … hopefully it’ll allow her to enjoy more success than Pop Music did.

I don’t really think she deserves a recording contract. I honestly don’t care for her voice. The country music just isn’t working for me either (the pop was worse)!
When will she just GO AWAY?

r u DEAF? i used to think she was a decent singer before bcuz she could belt, but after really listening to her sing. she sounds really AWFUL. like really bad. like when she hits those high notes it doesnt even seem like shes hitting them, she goes into some kind of weird register that kinda gives the illusion of a powerful strong note, but its really airy with no depth to her voice. stop singing. i mean ashlee isnt any better but at least she doesnt sound as bad as jessica

Have you taken a look at John Mayer’s face when he sings? It’s no comparison to this.
when will jessica simpson understand that she cant sing or perform? britney is not the greatest singer but she is one of the BEST performers…but jessica cant sing or perform

Is anyone else going to suggest pregnant? That outfit looks like it’s straight out of motherhood maternity’s clearance rack. And coming from a family of sisters, there’s nothing like your kid sister doing something first to make you follow suit…so…I’m just saying…

LOL @ Joolzy. Jessica does have a very good voice, but she uses it all wrong and has terrible performing habits. She only looks good with her mouth CLOSED – no goaty singing faces, no slutty “pouts.”

Is it just me or does it look like she gained a little bit of weight? Not that she looks bad or anything it’s just that her outfit reminds me of a maternity outfit and I saw another picture of her that just makes me think Dallas will be putting up with her for as long as Romo is playing for them… I don’t know I’m just saying…
