Jessica Simpson Does ‘Good Morning America’ … Twice
Jessica Simpson has been making the rounds on all the early morning TV shows this week and yesterday she paid a visit to Good Morning America to perform a track off her new album. Altho Jess had to stop her performance on live TV because she couldn’t hear anything in her earpiece, she managed to get thru the rest of the song with her usual … gusto. Here are pics of Jess showing off her trademark fug faces as she performed on GMA yesterday morning:
Jessica Simpson tripped up a rocky performance on live television Tuesday, the day of her latest album release. “Hold on, I know this is live TV but I can’t hear anything,” she said as she starting singing her quadruple platinum hit “With You” on Good Morning America. The music stopped, the crowd in Times Square went silent and then she counted down for her musicians to start again. “You got it?” she asked. “There you go!”
You know, I cannot hate on the girl for giving her all in every live performance that she does … but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the ridiculous faces that she makes when she’s belting out her songs on stage. I’m sorry, it’s not a pretty picture. I did catch this particular performance, tho, and I think she sounded great. Country Music is a good fit for her … hopefully it’ll allow her to enjoy more success than Pop Music did.

I don’t really think she deserves a recording contract. I honestly don’t care for her voice. The country music just isn’t working for me either (the pop was worse)!

r u DEAF? i used to think she was a decent singer before bcuz she could belt, but after really listening to her sing. she sounds really AWFUL. like really bad. like when she hits those high notes it doesnt even seem like shes hitting them, she goes into some kind of weird register that kinda gives the illusion of a powerful strong note, but its really airy with no depth to her voice. stop singing. i mean ashlee isnt any better but at least she doesnt sound as bad as jessica

when will jessica simpson understand that she cant sing or perform? britney is not the greatest singer but she is one of the BEST performers…but jessica cant sing or perform

Is anyone else going to suggest pregnant? That outfit looks like it’s straight out of motherhood maternity’s clearance rack. And coming from a family of sisters, there’s nothing like your kid sister doing something first to make you follow suit…so…I’m just saying…

LOL @ Joolzy. Jessica does have a very good voice, but she uses it all wrong and has terrible performing habits. She only looks good with her mouth CLOSED – no goaty singing faces, no slutty “pouts.”

Is it just me or does it look like she gained a little bit of weight? Not that she looks bad or anything it’s just that her outfit reminds me of a maternity outfit and I saw another picture of her that just makes me think Dallas will be putting up with her for as long as Romo is playing for them… I don’t know I’m just saying…

1st of all…what the hell is she wearing???
2nd of all…where the f did this twang come from? All through the “With You” performance there was this southern drawl that wasn’t there before. I really think the girl has a MAJOR identity crisis. She morphs into the style of whatever guy she dates and now she feels that bc she’s doing country she needs a thick southern accent. Taylor Swift has won many a country award and she has no accent…stop being so desperate Jessica!

I thought she not only looked bad, but sounded terrible. She sounds nothing like she did when she first came out. Everything about her is SO fake now. She tries to hard to please everyone by being someone she’s not and it’s obvious. She needs to take some pointers on confidence from her little sister.
Also, who the heck is her stylist??? Whoever let her wear that outfit should be FIRED!!!! It was painful to watch.

OMG you guys are horrible- Jessica is a beautiful women who has had alot happen in the last few years and I love to see her coming back— and her country side is AMAZING definately a GREAT fit!!!!!!!!! and for you who hated the outfit- what the hell is in your closet- something that i am sure someone would say OMG that girl looks like crap- get over your selfs and be happy for people who deserve— in this case that Jessica Simpson if yall didn’t catch on.

Those pictures are not really good. Speaking of artists that perform on the music industry Britney Spears was one of my biggest role models as a young girl. I’ve been on top of her stories for all these years and I know making a comeback is possible. With the help of payday loans, I was able to make a financial comeback. Her album was a worldwide commercial success. Her career took off since then – until she hit rock bottom. She had a messy divorce and a custody battle with her then husband, Kevin Federline. Along with that, she was facing other charges. And then the whole head-shaving thing took place, attracting more criticism than ever. The whole world was watching the famous pop princess break down. It was a horrible time in her life. Anyway, she has been working hard to repair her image and her career. Britney just announced that she is going on a world tour at the beginning of March 2009. I am definitely securing my ticket when she comes to my neck of the woods. She has done a great job getting back on track. For all of the crazy things she’s gone through and endured, making a comeback is tough yet possible. Like Britney, I have also made a lot of bad decisions in my personal financial dealings.
