Gentleman Prefers Blonde
So … as THIS post kinda hinted, I went ahead and decided to bleach the hell out of my hair and go for the blond look. Hee hee, I realize that it in no way looks natural at all but I’ve been totally bored with my hair lately so I decided to just go for it:
My amazing hairstylist friend Josh Rosebrook did an amazing job, I love it! The last time I bleached my hair was back in college when I lived in Oklahoma. I really liked it then but since my hair grows so fast I wasn’t able to keep up with the roots … I was pretty broke back then :) I’m not sure if the blond is gonna stay for long but … it’s fun, I love it and there you go. I held off on posting a pic because I wanted to surprise David upon my arrival last night … I was successful and thankfully, he likes it :)

It was really great meeting you both.
This afternoon, David and I are hanging out with his family who are in town for his early birthday celebration … not sure what’s on the agenda but it should be fun. NY was rainy last night but it’s sunny and warm today … happy day!

Work with what your mama gave you, you should know that by now. NO more juvenile hair colours.
Those risks are acceptable until you are 22, after that it looks silly and gives the impression you dont want to accept that you are not a kid anymore,,,and thats not attactive at all.

I really like it. It goes with your skin color well! The next time you get bored, try a nice golden brown, it will look great with your complexion. :)

To those who say you are too old I am 35 and I did bright red streaks through my hair a couple months ago and people loved it. Age is just a numer and 33 is not old for pete’s sake!

hahaha… oh trent, I have to say I do like u with dark hair but personally I had sexy blonde hair and just started going brunette and some have said to me – yeh, others no. I say … Fuk em’ .. I doubt that Trent is still reading this thread but I’ll throw in my two cents anyway. I’m fairly conservative in terms of appearance and I’m generally not in love with hair colors that don’t look natural. But I actually think this color suits him really well. It’s a great shade and Trent, I think you look wonderful! Hope it makes you feel hot!
As an aside, is Trent really in his 30s? He does NOT look that old (not that 33 or whatever is old – I’m older!).

trent i love love love the hair, suits you well my dear, and about the eyebrow thing theres no need, i have naturally light hair with naturally dark eyebrows, people think i dye them, nope just my genes
and for the person whos opinion in unwanted hateful and old fashioned, theres no need to even listen to that. 2008 people 30s not old and expression of ones look is a sign of uniqueness and individuality, whoever that person is needs to wise up, your only as old as you feel

It’s very in your face. I don’t know if blondes have more fun, but science says they get more attention (and mating offers.)
Though, even if you have the money, I wouldn’t keep it up on the long-term if I were you. Bleaching, no matter how good the look and talented the stylist, is terrible for your hair.
But while it’s still there and the roots are in a galaxy far, far away… rock it! :)
